“my battery is low and it’s getting dark” is so hauntingly human, so crushingly lonely. I can’t articulate the deep, profound ache that sentence evokes. It’s acceptance and defeat and terror and sadness all at once, all from one tiny machine we asked to explore the stars for us.
So I guess I’m living in a dictatorship now. That’s fun.

What she means: I’m currently bawling my eyes out over the destruction via draconic reactor explosion on a Minecraft mod video series despite the explosion being half faked and I’m not sure what this says about my range of emotions right now but it’s a prime mix of melancholy, nostalgia and guilt over something virtual that I never even had any part in. I was a silent observer but now there is nothing to observe
