So anakin teaches Cody how to carve wood and Cody makes the engagement ring lojack for obi wan, but he doesnt stop there.
He makes a bead earring for rex with a tiny piece of beskar in it and his little brother almost cries.
He makes viking bracelets for his batchmates and they all wear them proudly, even displaying them for pictures.
He makes a carved amulet for ashoka's headband with the togruta symbol for resilience. She wears it always.
He makes a pendant for anakin with twin suns in it and angel wings, and the kid hugs him for ten minutes.
Everyone is amazed and touched by these gifts. Cody feels proud of them
He puts trackers in every single one.
CLONES STOMPING ON CRUNCHY LEAVES FOR THE FIRST TIME
on his first r&r to coruscant, cody abducts fox and takes him to the botanical gardens because he knows that his vod’ika won’t have stomped on a leaf and that simply cannot be borne for a second longer
(fox schedules patrols to cycle all of the guard through the gardens. big security risk, those leaves. gotta stomp ‘em.)

coruscant has the space equivalent to the cosmopolitan magazine, including those celebrity quizzes pertaining to things such as "which actor is your bestie" etc. except they come out with an issue about the jedi INCLUDING "which jedi master would be your soulmate"
the troopers have a riot with this, the jedi amused just as much if not more (no one has heard yoda laugh this much since a prank some padawans *cough cough obiwanandquinlan COUGH* had pulled on mace). cody had refused to participate in the quiz no matter how much heckling he received from the 212th. on the other hand, obiwan is having a riot with it.
when obiwan hears troopers who got him, he becomes more friendly than before—overuses terms of endearments, more pats on the shoulders, smiling a little sweeter, those sorts of things. 212th troopers who got jedi like anakin or plokoon, obiwan just waggles a teasing brow and makes teasing little comments whenever they're teamed up.
it's rex that finally gets cody to take the quiz. some off hand comment about obiwan and his eyes or something along those lines. cody just yanks out the nearest datapad and does the questionnaire with much more thought than he ought to.
and what'd ya know—he got obiwan.
rex leaks it to the 212th and cody receives so much crap for that. obiwan overhears it and bc he is such a bastard, participates in all the teasing, just outright starts flirting bc isn't it so fun to see cody, marshall commander of the 3rd system army, become pink in the face from all the implications?
the next issue is of the high ranking officers of the GAR, including the clones. obiwan gets cody and anakin gives him so much crap for it as well. cody gives obiwan a taste of his own medicine
Luke getting Din’s Mythosaur pendant or getting the mudhorn signet embroidered on his robes. Luke getting a beskar hand. Luke getting vambraces, or a pauldron, or a full set of Mandalorian armor to match his husband’s. YAY!!
BUT LET DIN HAVE SOMETHING TOO!!!
LET DIN HAVE SOMETHING FROM THE JEDI!!!
Din being gifted a kyber pendant engraved with the words, “Trust In The Force” that he wears under his cowl. Din integrating Jedi lightsaber forms when fighting with the Darksaber and taking down a battle droid through Shii-Cho. Din recognizing other Forms when sparring with Luke and learning exactly how to defend and counterattack — much to Luke’s elation.
Din thinking he’s physically unable to meditate sitting still until Luke teaches Din about moving meditations, and when he finally tries it, Din feels at peace for the first time in years.
Din keeping his helmet off for longer periods of time and letting himself experience the world outside of the static, holo-blue of his helmet’s HUD.
Din playfully parroting, “May the Force be with you” to Luke until he starts saying it with conviction whenever Luke’s about to do something dumb and stupid (again). Luke laughing and reminding Din that the Force is with both of them, always. Din clutching his kyber pendant and willing himself to trust, aggressively and desperately.
Din seeing memory moths for the first time on New Holstice and remembering the pile of helmets from the fallen members of his Tribe, waiting to be melted down and reforged. Din realizing just how much both of them have lost and the significance of everything Luke’s shared with Din about the Jedi.
Din wearing his kyber pendant over his cowl, shining against his chestplate for everyone on Mandalore to see, eyes slowly scanning across a sea of T-visors. Say something, I fucking dare you.
Commander Fox finds out about Palpatines plans and instead of doing something logical he starts prank calling literally every commander he knows pretending to be Palpatine so when the real call comes they hang up on him
Star Wars? Star Wars.
Note: Since my old masterlist is getting notes again (and I'm hosting @tbb-appreciation-week this year), I thought it's a good time to release a new version with a lot more resources. If any of you know another site or thing that it's missing from the list, let me know and I'll include it!! [Altho, I'm getting this close 🤏 to the hyperlinks limit on this thing 😆]
Note 2: To avoid tagging the 3 people from whom I got multiple resources repeatedly, I've placed 1-3 asterisks between square brackets after the links, depending on the OP. I give the respective credit to them in a legend at the end of the post.

SlickWrite: Completely free; online. Checks grammar, punctuation, flow, and writing style according to different settings (including fiction writing).
ProWritingAid: [RECOMMENDED] One of the most thorough online proofreader I've ever used. Although when using a free account gives extremely thorough feedback, with +20 different in-depth reports, for only the first 500 words. However, you can earn a premium account license (for a year or for life) if you get 10 or 20 new users signing up for free; (if you wouldn't mind doing so using the link above and help me earn mine, please). The settings allow you to check your writing according to your needs, from general to formal to creative. It has a bonus that you can check depending on the genre you're writing. For example, in creative, you can choose romance or sci-fiction (there are 14 sub-genre in total). And just like google docs, you can share a document, and people can view, comment or edit it too.
LanguageTool: [RECOMMENDED] Another excellent proofreader. It also has a word limit in free accounts, but if you use the add-on for Google Docs, it counts each page as a new document, so hitting the word limit is nearly impossible. It helps you to rewrite a sentence (3 a day), even if it doesn't raise any flags; it's very useful for when your sentence is grammatically correct, but it doesn't feel quite right.
Grammarly, Hemingway Editor: No so great, but they do the basic job.

Cody: *poking Obi-Wan in the cheek till he wakes up* Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan: *sleepy and confused* What?
Cody: Why is your child in bed with us?
Obi-Wan: *peeks over Cody’s back to see Anakin spooning Cody, and even further back, Reva starfished with one leg thrown over Anakin’s side* Children. They’re both here.
Cody: *growly because being the little spoon gives him cooties* why are they here?
Obi-Wan: Anakin gets cold. Reva is a pack creature.
Cody: I hate this.
Obi-Wan: *cuddles back into Cody’s neck and starting to fall asleep again* It’s okay, it means they trust you.
Cody: …how dare you make me feel this emotion. I’ll kill everyone for this.
Obi-Wan: Okay. Love you.
