The trump standin character is introduced in this ep and returns in a later new years special

And 13 commits inhummane giant spider murder (which is probably the least of the Doctor's warcrimes, but still makes me sad that they were normal earth spiders that became huge, and probably could have been kept in a cool zoo or taken back in earths pre history)

been rewatching/catching up on doctor who bc of the specials and uh.

i made it to the spiders (arachnids in the UK). why. why is there a spider episode. why has my beloved scifi show done this to me.

...can someone spider-proof my house for me.

still stuck on the idea of biodata being what feeds the looms, not dna. your lived experience being sloughed off into a machine and rewoven to create the same thing in an ever so slightly different pattern. millennia of the same loomed into millennia more of the same. maybe this is why time lords are bred to have such dull lives: to make more people with dull, repetitive lives. it's all a loop. it's all the same. it's all indoctrination. until, that is, the war begins; then billions of years of history isn't enough. then the biodata becomes corrupted, the looms go into overdrive. defects become the norm. time lord existence becomes unstable. fucked up if true!
