An early visit from the male cardinal, about midway though a catbird flys into the platform feeder in the background. The surprise visitor is somewhat unidentified, either a female cardinal or one of the shy juveniles that is hanging around but hasn’t made an official visit to the bird buddy yet!

Even more friendly scrub jays! 1/16/23 at the Cruickshank Sanctuary in Rockledge, FL. The birds would wait until you’d stood still a moment and then happily land on your head until they were ready to move on. Such a cool experience.
My personal fave is back now that the suet ball feeder is refilled. A quick but cute visit from a grey catbird.
Friday morning visitor! New camera angle thanks to our squirrel friends from yesterday.
In an incredible turn of events, the bird buddy captured two birds at two different feeders! The male cardinal giving a knowing look to the camera while the blue jay eats in the background is pure gold! The video also shows the blue jay coming back for more snacks after the cardinal leaves.
A true case of uncertainty, I am pretty sure this is a lesser yellowlegs but it might also be a great yellowlegs. Confirmation tips appreciated!

Curious scrub jays at the Northern Sebastian Conservation Area.
This is such a local oddity but a family of Egyptian geese live in the pond in front of the movie theater and it’s so fun to see them being so out of place.

Serenading the morning before hitting up the bird buddy for some snacks.
