This is such a local oddity but a family of Egyptian geese live in the pond in front of the movie theater and it’s so fun to see them being so out of place.
An incredible abundance of coots!

Behind the scenes for the bird buddy! Usually if the birds see humans in the yard they don’t stop at the feeder but this female cardinal did.
Nothing brightens up a dreary March morning like a cardinal at the bird bud!
Coming in hot! The videos don’t always capture the bird flying into the feeder so this was a nice surprise!
Views from the backyard. The mango tree is laden and has me so hopeful for a big harvest but I’m betting the squirrels will take their fair share.
An almost off-camera appearance of the male cardinal this afternoon. It also looks like the camera has rotated some, hopefully the squirrels are staying out of the feeder!
Another twofer visit to the bird buddy today! Starting with a female northern cardinal and then a male.
Silhouette of a belted kingfisher. We’ve seen the seemingly same female kingfisher several times in the same location along the drive, I love seeing her each time!
