Tfw you get self conscious bcuz you have to share a stand and your partner can see your music and what you have (havent) written on it

They turned an old tuba into a fully functioning bathroom sink.

So yesterday at our game, I literally face planted on the stands and my knees hurt real bad :) The BD yelled that we had 30 secs to get to our seats, so I started skipping steps and I fell and hit my chin, so that's fun!

We do partialdnds by doing faster/slower lip buzz for higher/lower notes and lots of air and yes you spelt partialdnds correct :))))

1. Steal some trumpet player's trumpet (or just get one, either works)

2. Find someone willing to teach you!! (A trumpet player might seem odd, but most actually want to teach somebody - probably to feel validated, but hey it works - and if none of them say yeah, then the director will help!)

3. be loUD or be disgraced by the section :)

I wanna learn trumpet but I don’t know how to go about learning it help

So we were plotting one of our new shows, and I'm marching normally, but some of the flutes go up to this one other flute next to me in one set and asks why she has to cross 3 and a half yard lines.

3 AND A HALF YARD LINES. IN. 12. COUNTS.

So I did some math and that's about a 3.4 to 5 step if anyone was wondering.

And no matter how much all of the flutes (and mellos, who do the same thing) are struggling. It is hilarious to watch.

ITS LIKE THEYRE PRANCING ACROSS THE FIELD IT GREAT.

guys how do woodwind instruments work

like ive tried reeds and they sometimes work?? but they mostly squeak???

also flute is just impossible ive come to the conclusion all flutes are witches.
