Ace has a greasy appearance but he actually smells kinda of nice. When he got older he liked to take baths regullary (twice a day sometimes) before eating his devil fruit, after he doesn't bathe as often but he likes to burn incense on himself and takes dry baths daily.

Sabo, at the other hand, grow up in a house when he was expected to bathe three times a day and be always the cleanest. So being able to not bathe at all if he doesn't want to? Feels like a dream. By consequences, he stinks. Current record is 4 months without taking a bath/shower. Koala usually makes him wash himself at least once or twice a week.
