oh? if i'm an *evil* wizard then why does the king let me skulk around the throne offering bad advice unimpeded?
Showed the kids on my hike today how to eat the goo from honey locust seed pods but told them that without their parents present to consent, I couldn’t allow them to sample it.
“But I’ll eat it,” I said, “Because I forgot to bring lunch today and I need the calories.”
The kids collectively took this to mean that they should attempt to forage for me and feed me with the bounty of the forest, so for the rest of the hike I had children shoving nuts and berries and leaves in my face like “Eat this! Eat this!” and each time I had to be like, no, that’s inedible, no, that needs to be washed and cooked, no, I can see the mold on that, no, those contain a deadly poison that will kill my body in terrible ways if I eat it. Thank you of thinking of me but please stop trying to make me eat poison.
Reconciliation (an old comic)
found this in my files while looking through some old art, decided to finish the last page and just post it haha
Nah it's fallen to Tumblr now my man best to just let it go
the "came back wrong" trope except like... they didnt. like this mad scientists wife died, and so he studied necromancy, brought her back, and she came back and it all worked. like she came back exactly the same as she was before with literally no difference. but the scientist guy is like "oh no... what have i done.... shes Different now!!!! she came back Wrong!!!!" and shes just like. chilling. reading a book. cooking dinner. shes just so so normal but in the guys mind hes like "oh shes soooo weird" but shes just normal
Three years later and we are down to a 39!
this sounds really basic to say but i really love how cc!bad roleplays his character's flaws. a lot of qsmp characters have flaws that are born out of miscommunication or bad decisions, and qbad also has a good majority of those, but he also has so many flaws that are just very deliberate on the cc's end. and that's because these flaws firmly place him outside of cc!bad and into q!bad.
and it is SO important that cc!bad does this because he's made his character this powerful, ancient demon whos also strong/rich (i.e, his streamer plays minecraft well) and a heavy island investigator. it s so easy to make a character like that unfairly overpowered if all he does is choose the "correct" paths. aka what the chat wants him to do. what you or me would realistically choose to do.
so to compensate cc!bad makes his character messy! he doesnt choose the right path! he's terrible at communicating, he represses all his feelings, he lies all the time (mostly to his own detriment), he's horribly blunt, he cannot understand human morals, he's suspicious of everyone and acts suspicious himself, etc etc. there will be times where you're staring at your screen just wanting him to be open for once, and he won't be. and it'll hurt him. and that's good. even the little things, like how cc!bad will have q!bad overanalyze and overtheorize to figure out something that has definitely been spoiled for him on twitter...its all good roleplaying. cc!bad is only able to have a character strong enough to destroy cities if he has THIS many flaws as compensation.
This might say a little too much about me but I'm not gonna dwell on it
its just. so weird to me when people treat x reader as some like isolated cringe and ooc phenomenon. have you ever been in the tags for a popular mlm ship before in your life. you're saying that every single thing in there is objectively better than all of x reader? is that the hill you want to die on?
(frantically checks the name and pronouns of someone i speak to regularly despite knowing them)
I care about you. Just so you know.
Please do not abuse the anon function to say kind things to me.
Anon is for hurling abuse, insults and degrading remarks about my anatomy. By saying kind things you have revealed that you are in fact a plant, bot or fake account from which I have sent this message to myself to make me feel better.
Today the 4yo walked up to a couple of teens at the playground and said, “I know lots of ways to relax, do you want to know about one?” and they said yes so she lead them through a simple yoga session.
