I can tell you why:
1. It's Vi we're talking about. She IS hot.
2. The body control and strength required to not only lift Gertrude AND the gauntlets, but RUN with her on her shoulders while there's bullets flying in all directions is insane. That's attractive. We love a powerful woman.
3. The angles and design are amazing. It keeps those 2D details when she falls. Plus, it looks kinda blurry, which sets you in the idea of them being actors and the actual focus of a camera.
4. The fact that she is literally risking her life to help others in the middle of a battlefield is noteworthy. We get to see this actively caring side of Vi once again, which sets the ground to who she is as a character.
Overall, it is a hectic scene. There is so much happening in just a couple of seconds, and we can sense the level of stress/tension/desperation they all feel in that crucial moment. At the end of the day is a life or death situation that affects someone Vi knew before the war. It's symbolic in itself. And she looks FINE doing it.
i don’t know why this is so hot but it is 💕😩
OMG. THIS.
I'm a humanities major, which means I have to write a TON of essays. I have a masterlist of essay titles I would like to write, but I just can't get myself to start (because it's funnier this way)
writing is hard but coming up with a cunty title and catchy summary will slay even god's strongest soldier
I will always defend their decisions. As a writer (and as a person with empathy), they did what they could based on experience and fear.
something about vi never wanting anyone in her life to change. something about jayce not caring at all how much viktor has changed so long as he's alive. something about the way vi associates radical change with death, perceiving jinx's continued existence as a kind of necromantic horror—the way jayce would shatter fundamental laws of nature without a second thought in order to give viktor the best chance at survival, in whatever form that may take. transformation as rebirth vs murder, hextech vs shimmer. nature has made us intolerant to change, but fortunately, we have the capacity to change our nature. and then jayce, realizing that he hasn't changed at all, not really—that he is a scientist at heart, and he shouldn't have tried to be anything else. and then vi, realizing she has become someone unrecognizable—never thought my sister would turn bluebelly. and for both of them, it's too little, too late.
NEW JAYVIK HEADCANON
I saw this and went through the mental tangent of "does Vik actually like coffee?"
I've seen them, fandom-wise, have a chronic addiction to coffee—which would make sense because they're HEAVILY sleep deprived. But I take a look at Viktor, and my only thought is that he either drinks tea or creamer and sugar with a bit of coffee lmao.
And Jayce would drink not black coffee but almost getting there (in my cozy husbands au headcanon he does tho)
With this specific fanart, my mind went to Jayce having an odd amount of energy for no specific reason, clinking their cups too hard, and accidentally mixing the contents, annoying Viktor who ends up making disgusted faces to him for a couple of hours afterwards (couldn't be the rest of the day because Jayce would cry) (I'm not judging, I would cry too if Viktor were mad at me lol)
Wip
I'm unwell...

Ink version, all traditional
Ok, here's the thing. I want to keep writing about CaitVi. Just random stuff, nothing too deep or lengthy. And I refuse to let this hyperfixation go.
SO
I will try to upload the phrases that keep marinating inside my head. Once or twice a day. If you have any thoughts, gifs, scenes, or anything about them you would like to see in my style, just let me know!
THE Caitlyn Kiramman smoking cigarettes will cause me a seizure.
No, because what do you mean Arcane has completely rewritten the rulebook on queer representation in media, and it did it so effortlessly that it puts so many other shows to shame. Like, how are you going to tell me this animated series—ostensibly a spin-off of a video game—has given us some of the most nuanced, unapologetically powerful sapphic characters ever without reducing them to stereotypes, side plots, or, worse, trauma porn?
Vi and Caitlyn? Their dynamic is ELECTRIC. You’ve got Vi, the rough-edged, fiercely loyal, scrappy brawler with a tender side that could wreck anyone emotionally, and Caitlyn, the sharp, principled, deeply empathetic enforcer with a heart of gold. The way their relationship is built on mutual respect and trust while navigating all the insane, tragic chaos around them? Literal chef's kiss. And not once do we get the tired, lazy "coming out" narrative or the "but what about the gays?" rhetoric. Their queerness isn’t the story—it’s just a beautifully natural part of who they are. And THAT is revolutionary.
And let’s not even stop there. This show handles gender like it’s been waiting for everyone else to catch up. Characters like Sevika, who could give you chills with her sheer badassery and gender-nonconforming energy, exist unapologetically without the narrative ever feeling the need to spoon-feed us explanations. It’s just there, woven seamlessly into the fabric of the world.
So many shows claim to want to "normalize" queer relationships or push the envelope, but Arcane has quietly dominated the space by just writing characters who feel authentic. Their struggles are about class, power, loyalty, trauma, not token representation or forced diversity. This show said, “We’re just going to make some of the most layered, compelling characters you’ve ever seen—and oh yeah, some of them are gay. Keep up.”
Like, the bar wasn’t just raised—it was launched into the stratosphere. What do you mean this level of representation isn’t the norm yet? Arcane said, “We’re not asking for permission to exist. We’re just existing.” And that? That is art.
I just love how we all agree that Jayce is oblivious for most things he does/says
uhm so... screw it better?
every time jayce...uhh...what were we talking about again
What a day to emotionally destroy me 😀
Slow down, time is not our friend
