90 Day Challenge - Intro
Hello! I've decided that I'm going to start a semi personalized 90-day challenge to help keep myself on track with my productivity! I will have certain goals I want to achieve, and the whole goal of this in general, like my desired outcome, is to build some more positive, healthy, productive habits! I'm going to set in place some rules for myself for this challenge!
π©· Rules for 90 Day Challenge π©·
Must post an update to my blog every day as a way to keep myself accountable
2 goals per category per day MINIMUM
4 goals per category per day MAXIMUM
Be honest with yourself and on this blog!
Be mindful and compassionate towards yourself in regards to time and energy
Here are the categories:
πββοΈ Physical Health
π§ Mental Health
β€οΈ Emotional Health
π Intellectual Health
π₯³ Social Health
π₯° Self Love/Care
I will post every evening/night with what I accomplished for that day and what I plan to accomplish tomorrow.
*I will lump some things together. such as "complete 3 assignments" instead of listing every assignment. and there will be some overlap, as some days I might take a walk for physical health but other days do that for mental health, etc.
This is a pretty lofty challenge for me, and there will be some repeat goals (like studying japanese, doing homework, skincare, etc) but this will definitely give me som direction in my days so I'm excited!
I'll upload my first post of the challenge soon after this as I want to start today! I'll start with my goals for today and then upload tonight as mentioned earlier.
I'm excited to share this with you all!

My *Updated Winter Skincare Routine + Some Tips π
I have tried out some new products and have found some new personal favorite skincare items for the winter! I figured Iβd update on my current morning and night skincare routines and add in some tips (based on things Iβve been doing that have been working for me). I am not a dermatologist or professional, these are sino,y my routines and what works for me!
π©· Morning Skincare Routine
Wash my face with Cerave Hydrating Face Wash and cold water
Pat dry with a paper towel
Apply Jumiso Vitamin C Serum
Follow up with Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream
Use sunscreen, Beauty of Joseon Rice + Probiotics SPF 50
thatβs my simple little morning routine! I love it so much more for than my super complicated routine because sometimes itβs nice to just get in and get my skincare done for the morning.
π©· Night Skincare Routine
these two things stay the same every night, but the rest differs by night
Oil cleanse on dry skin with Anua Pore Control Cleansing Oil
Follow up with using the B.Lab Matcha Foam Hydrating Cleanser
Monday/Wednesday/Friday - Exfoliating
Use the Cosrx AHA/BHA Toner
Pat in the Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence
Use the Torriden Dive In Low Molecule Hyalorounic Serum
Next, I pat in the Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum
I use the Cerave Eye Repair Cream on my under eyes
Lastly, I use the Cosrx All In One Snail Cream
Tuesday/Thursday - Retinal Eye Cream Days
I use the Anua Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner
Next, Iβll use the Torriden Dive In Low Molecule Hyaluronic Serum
Then Iβll occasionally use the Skin 1004 Centella AsiΓ‘tica Ampoule serum
Then I Pat a bit of the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Cream under my eyes
Lastly, I lock it all in with my Etude Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream
Saturday - Basic Day
Iβll use the Iβm From Rice Toner on this day
Then Iβll use the Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Followed by either the Anua Peach Nicain Serum OR the Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum
Iβll Pat the Cerave Eye Repair Cream into the under eye area
Then I lock it all in with Etude Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream
Sunday - Full Self Care Day
Before double cleansing, I use the Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Face Mask (I love her)
Then I double cleanse
Then Iβll use the Anua Toner Pads
Then I use my Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence
Then I use either of my Hyaluronic Serums depending on how I feel
Then Iβll use the Axis Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum
Cerave Eye Cream of course
Then I use the Cosrx All In One Snail Cream
Every Night -
I pat a little Hyaluronic acid serum into my lips and seal it with Vaseline
a lot of products, yes, but I went crazy and bought a bunch of skincare and now Iβm using it and my skin loves all of it honestly! My skin is not super sensitive so I use everything within reason in a way that wonβt irritate it. For me, I know what works for my skin and what doesnβt, and thatβs been the most helpful thing. Now, for some tips,
π©· Skincare Tips
Apply vitamin C to dry skin! Iβve heard this helps with absorption and the way the serum works!
Pat face dry, do not rub! Rubbing irritates the skin and pulling on it aggressively like that isnβt good long term
Use clean paper towels! May be a bit wasteful but itβs a lot cleaner then using a face towel that you wash once a week
Apply Hyaluronic Acid to damp skin for better absorption!
Apply all serums to your clean fingers to pat into skin as dragging the droppers across your skin can collect bacteria and what not
Always use sunscreen! I myself sometimes forget or I skip it and thatβs just not good for your skins health long term
drink your water!!! Hydrated skin starts from within, lovelies
Use products that work for your skin type! Avoid fragrances if you have sensitive skin, avoid snail mucin if you have a dust allergy, etc
Cold water in the morning to refresh your skin and wake you up
if I've washed my face + done my skincare the night before, I do not wash my face in the morning. I simply splash with cold water and do my morning routine.
learn your skin type! this will help you determine what products will be beneficial for your skin type and goals. My skin bounces between oily and dry depending on the weather, if I did skincare, if my pillowcases are clean, etc.
don't touch your face, at least not with dirty hands. always make sure your hands are clean before touching your face
don't pop acne! not only with this leave the chance of scarring, but it spreads the bacteria from one pimple to the rest of your face
brush your teeth before doing skincare. when you brush your teeth after, you may rub off the stuff you've applied or mix it in, which is not the best for your skin
those are all the tips I currently use in my everyday life regarding my skin! I hope this was useful!

what are some journal affirmations you recommend/receive?
Sorry for the late reply!
When it comes to affirmations, I like to search through tumblr for affirmations that match my feelings or desires, and I will write them on post-it notes and keel them within sight. I change them up depending on mood and current desires, but they always help me with my mindset!
But yeah, searching through tumlr blogs that post affirmations that match my needs is what I suggest, as it's what's worked best for me! <3
I love this!!! It's such a cute guide to wonyoungism, and it's super helpful for people starting out with this kind of aesthetic lifestyle !!
π©·π©·π©·π©·
wonyoungism is inspired by jang wonyoung and mixes a coquette, cute, pink pilates princess style with self improvement to help us become the best and healthiest versions of ourselves!
ways to express wonyoungism
have a morning routine
a morning routine helps set the tone for the rest of your day. while you can include whatever you want, typical wonyoungism morning routines include waking up early, stretching, skincare, drinking tea or lemon water, and doing your makeup and hair. do what works for you and makes you feel the best!
take care of your skin
research your skin type and find what products and routines will work best for you. no need for fancy or expensive products! in my experience, minimalism works best for my skin. a good cleanser and moisturizer are key, but you can also include things like toner, exfoliating scrubs, night cream, eye cream, and serums if you need or want them. wonyoung is an ambassador for innisfree skincare products, like these:
have a nutritious, balanced diet
having a nutritious diet keeps you healthy and energized, helps your skin and hair, makes you feel good, and has so many other benefits! focus on getting your daily servings of fruit and veggies and getting your protein and other nutrients and vitamins in, but donβt restrict yourself to the point of bad mental health. hereβs a good chart to start with!
find a daily exercise regimen
most workouts youβll find with wonyoungism are pilates, walking, and yoga (which i highly recommend!) but find a workout plan that YOU like! there are so many different types of workouts out there, and you shouldnβt force yourself to do something you hate. try out different things and figure out what works best for you. if you do want to practice pilates and yoga, here are some good channels on youtube:
move with nicole
dansique fitness
yoga with kassandra
eleni fit
sanne vloet
bailey brown
implement productive habits into your day
instead of mindlessly scrolling in your free time, try to implement productive and healthy activities. these things can include:
working out or stretching
drawing or painting
researching something that interests you
learn a new skill or a new language
read
write short stories
make a new playlist
go outside/go for a walk/spend time in nature
journal
make a vision board
be kind to yourself
sounds self explanatory, but it can be so much harder than it sounds for some of us. it may take some time, but realize that you are only human and you are doing the best you can. itβs okay to not feel as healthy or happy as you think you should, but you are absolutely valid and it is okay to be gentle with yourself. you are the only you there will ever be, embrace being you!
have an evening routine
evening/night routines are important because it closes out your day and gets you ready for a good nights sleep. itβs so helpful to have an evening routine that helps you wind down and get relaxed mentally and physically. this can include whatever makes you feel calm and happy, but it can also include things like stretching, lighting a candle, skincare, reading, meditation, and drinking a warm drink like tea!
Daily Check-in: April 5, 2024 π
Friday was a decently good day! I managed to get some stuff done despite extremely fatigue (thank you womanhood), a 6.5 hour class, and crying my eyes out on zoom with my boyfriend (again, thank you womanhood). I hate having a functional female body, but I love being a woman? ughh, the confliction
π©· What I Accomplished:
completed Chapter 9 of Spanish on Busuu

π©· What Could've Been Better:
my friend and I accidently swapped chem lab notebooks on Thursday so I wasn't able to do my report with the extension
got told I was talking to loud during my restaurant class :(
found that I'm working with a girl I'm not too fond of (due to her controlling and "authoritative" tendencies) for my restaurant class
cried on zoom with my boyfriend because this time of year is hard for me
lots of back pain and low stomach cramping
drank a soda after having a coffee and had waayyy too much energy
didn't drink enough water or eat enough protein/vitamin-richs foods
π©· Stuff To Do Tomorrow:
work shift 8am to 3pm
complete small Spanish study tasks
read a chapter of a book
update my brain dump list
create excel spreadsheet for renting options near the campus
look into savings template for my goals
find out how many hours I've worked to guesstimate my pay for this upcoming paycheck
complete assignment for chemistry
Saturday is going to be a good day! I am going to make sure I have a good day on Saturday because even if bad things happen, it doesn't mean my day itself was inherently bad. Gotta stay optimistic

Day 28-29: 90 Day Challenge π
For yesterday (Wednesday) and today, I've done very close to absolutely nothing due to immense lack of sleep and trying to recover from all the exhaustion of being unable to sleep properly.
I knee this challenge wasn't going to be easy all the time, but after napping a bit today and working out my daily tasks and schedules for the next week, I'm feeling confident about tomorrow. I've decided to incorporate a lot more health and wellness activities into my daily routines, especially since I am unable to take my mental health medications due to insurance issues. I figure it is up to me to take charge of my health, sort of as it's own side challenge to keep myself healthy and stable and sane.
Insurance issues aside, I plan to budget for bi weekly therapy sessions, as even without medication, therapy has been life changing for me and luckily I can still see my therapist for a reduced price per session.
This challenege will be a bit more wellness, health and overall productivity based moving forward until the semester starts again which will lead it to be more school/intellectual focused.
I am definitely tasked with a heavy load of mental and physical self work, but these next 5 weeks of low stress and low priorities will give me the building tools I need.

Honesty Time π
I have not had the motivation or energy to do much since my break started. Iβve done a good amount of cleaning around my room and the house, but that feels like all Iβve been doing lately. I keep making these goals for myself o get out of the house and be active and productive and I had hope that Iβd stay consistent this week but all Iβve done is rot in bed and do close to nothing. I feel like I have no motivation to leave my house or workout or do anything. If I could drive, maybe it would be a different story but I donβt like feeling like this. I have goals to achieve and Iβve been doing close to nothing to actually achieve them.
Iβm trying to find ways to motivate myself either internally or externally but itβs hard. My only goal for today is to start taking my health meds and supplements again and take a walk outside. I feel like achieving that would be a good start. I donβt know what the purpose of this mini vent was but if anything, could someone recommend me some tips or advice to stay motivated or find motivation to start doing things again?
I thought my challenge would be enough but all Iβve even doing is feeling guilty for my lack of doing things, if that makes sense. Today will be different. Today I will do something, anything, to get myself going in the right direction again. I know itβs the little things that count, so Iβm going to remind myself that even the smallest step forward is a step in the right direction.
also, could anyone recommend me some good it girl podcasts or decent Ted talks, or just media and entertainment that would be useful to my life? Health, fitness, nutrition, productivity content. I want to start nourishing my brain without having to stare at as screen too much.
