I know I've already been on haitus for a while, but well, I'll be even more haitus for the next week because I'll be travelling.

I've been having a hard time drawing anything. It's not that I have any difficulties that I can pinpoint. It just never seemed to happen. And it kept not happening.

I've been working on a new writing project, I want to say it sucks, but to be fair, it's just not what I usually like to write or even to read, so I won't insult it yet. It deserves it, though. It includes someone sucking on a raw steak. And a ferris wheel. And sad things because of course.

Anyway, enjoy this doodle that hopefully I'll find the heart to finish after next week!

Doing colouring as a kid, I always ignored instructions and drew snot and tears on all the things with faces. To stop old habits from popping out, I traced this with baking paper against my phone, then traced that with watercolour paper against my desk lamp. It hurt my arms, so I filled in the details freestyle, I hope it worked! Phans with a printer, follow instructions now!

He uses a lasso, how could I not? When I found out that Ramin Karimloo's Phantom has a fancy hat, it settled the matter.

I recently found out Love Never Dies exists and will be spending the rest of my life pretending it doesn't. This is what I believe Erik would do if he went to America. He'll be fine, lots of train tracks to blow up.

Everything about this drawing makes me happy, but the detail that makes my Undead heart sing is the yellow-covered copy of Dracula. It's the 1897 edition, designed to evoke the appearance of the 'yellowback' - the cheap sensational fiction sold at railway stations at the time. Dr Watson was mentioned reading one in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. (Above is the miniature version I made for my haunted dollhouse.)

I don't often talk about these original characters, Lolly and Stephen Wargrave, since their story is quite twisted and hard to make into funny posts. Well, I had the urge to cattify them today, and it's sort of funny, so here they are.

These gory weirdos are brainrotting me now, so maybe I'll blab about them again soon.

I loved going through your comics (and doing a bit of ✨️research✨️ in your art archives) to put in the little details, and listening to the album too! I thought this was the perfect song for Erik, and I'm so glad it's among your favourites when I (discreetly) asked!

Look what i've got from @purrlockswatson !!! I bought the goober cats advent calendar and payed a bit more than i should. And i got this!!!

Ahhhhhhhhh it is so soooo cute!!! And look at the details!!! Erik with his guitar and rose hoodie!! Chrissy wrapped up in a blanket, and they are listening toooo florence + the meowchine!!! Guess the song ahhhhhh 😆✨ guess the album ❤️🔥

WIP. One of Cleopatra's occupations is portrait commissions for vampires who can't see their reflections. Pierce is a born model.

Proud of my Regency Era furniture (and my humans), though something still seems a little wonky. I don't know much by way of perspective or proportion, so that's one of the skills I hope to improve this year.
