HOLY SHIT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT

really getting sick of people who aren’t trans women saying “y’all find out JK Rowling is a terf every three months…. we already fucking knew” like. sorry, but it didn’t stop being a big deal that the most well known author in the fucking world literally belongs to a hate group dedicated to eliminating trans women’s rights. that’s a big fucking deal, and people are allowed to talk and post about it when it happens.

“y’all find out JKR is a terf every two months!!!” is just a way to dismiss trans women’s worries about her. yeah we already knew, but she’s STILL doing it and it’s HURTING us. but you wouldn’t know because y’all don’t actually give a shit about trans women.

stop saying shit like this.

OMG mind-blowing

so i was rewatching Brooklyn 99 and i solved the puzzle in s2e18

12 islanders, one of them is heavier, a seesaw, you can use seesaw only three times

1) 4--------4

four islanders in the left, four islanders in the right and four islanders are out. so you can find out which group heavier one is in

2) 2--------2

3) 1---------1

im so proud of myself

This is so important ladies!!!

Almost every time I tell someone I'm a feminist they tell me "well, you don't look like one!" and that pisses me off.

I'm a feminine girl, I wear tight jeans and makeup and I have long hair and nail polish, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I CHOOSE TO LOOK LIKE.

Feminism is about embracing women of all sizes, colors, genders, sexualities and appearances, and about every woman's right to do whatever the fuck she wants.

The fact that there is still people who humiliate women for choosing the “femininity” and think that they can’t be a feminists and women’s rights activist is both amusing and scaring, especially when this “fact” is supported by other women.

Why is it scaring? Now, in everyday’s life there is such a image of “the modern girl” who should not to do any “girly” stuff because it’s embarrassing. No soap operas. No pink colour and dresses in flowers. No using make-up. No to stay at home with your children and be a housewife.

But I open up you one little secret. There are women who have different priorities.

Not every girl wants to have a career. Not every girl wants to wear some fashion unisex clothes because she adores dresses and skirts. Not every girl wants to prove something showing her achievement in some “more important” spheres of society. Not every girl wants to become a successful in the proper meaning of this word, that is to have a normal job!

Some of them want to be a housewife. Some of them choose to stay at home with their children instead to go working because these women can afford it. Some of them want to bake cookies and sell them on the local market instead of building a career because baking IS a PROPER career. And being a makeup master IS a PROPER career because makeup is an art. Being a housewife and a mother of children IS a career because these women do so many work, I even can’t count how many stuff these women do during the day and most of all they bring up kids and help them to become personalities.

Some of them are romantic and read love stories. Some of them cry while watching movies. Some of them listen to boy bands. Some of them spend thousand dollars on clothes and cosmetics. Some of them live in the room with peach walls. Some of them are in love in the partner who doesn’t respond on their feelings and these girls ARE really suffering. Some of them are in love with a famous singer or actor. Some of them are too gentle and too kind for this world.

EVERY woman should choose that way of life which SHE wants, not what is expected from them

And all of these women CAN be a feminists. Housewives can discuss current world’s economic state. Teenage girls who listen to One Direction or Justin Bieber can talk about gender equality and the protection of human rights. Girls who write in the pink notebook with glister pen can speak fluently about US foreign policy and what’s wrong with it. But some women do not understand these areas because they have different priorities and that’s ok. Some women are not interested in economic or politics but they know a lot about healing properties of herbs. They bake the most delicious cakes in the world. They love working with children. And most of all they are happy.

Stop telling them that they are doing something wrong!

And women who support this stupidness about femininity should stop doing it immediately. Women should support women.

Being a feminist and being a woman’s rights activist is about giving women the freedom to choose and every woman IS a feminists because she wants to be respected.

That’s the tea

I know this is serious but i swear some of the note are killing me lmao

Dear friends of Tumblr,

Today at my school we had an assembly about internet predators and when I had said that most of my true friends are over the internet and they gave me a lecture about how “I don’t know who I’m talking to” blah blah. So please, if you aren’t a predator in any way, please reblog so i can prove a point.
