Because like me, Spock is lonely, but finds friends and family who love him

Because Bones feels worthless. As if he’s not good enough but he tries and he does all he can for his friends

Because Uhura is strong and soft and beautiful and smart and proves that women are just as good as men

Because Chekov is sweet and brave but young. He proves that anyone can be anything

Because sulu is gay and amazing but it’s not all he is nor is he stereotypical

Because Scotty is so awesome and excited about the world and space

Because this show and its characters have given me a lot, has changed me a lot and has given me so much hope for the future
