Went on vacation and hit up some book stores. Everyone in the family got something.
Physical books are the best. But I admit, I'm trying to move towards ebooks more. I just don't have enough shelf space for all the books we get.
I actually tried to sell some books to a used book store. Got some store credit, which was nice. But they didn't take all the books, lol. I had a copy of Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul. I guess it's old, outdated, or they had too many copies, so they wouldn't take it. I admit I never read it.
Using Libby for borrowing books from the library is awesome. I have a Nook Glowlight 4+, and I fell in love with it some more over vacation. The backlight feature is key for nighttime reading. That's when I can get most of my reading in.
Unfortunately I have to side load from my computer and use Adobe tools. But for regular non-DRM epubs, I can download on my phone, use a USB cable between phone and Nook and sideload easy peasy. My now favorite feature of Android.

FYI, this actually seems the most plausible. Meta straight up said they won't uphold ethical filters against hate. The TT agenda was probably an attempt for some US corp to buy it out and TT said no bc they are foreign but agreeed to play along for the $$. Social media has been coopted at least a decade ago. I don't even know why I'm posting this thinking this gets any traction. Screaming void.

Or think about her as woman, happily married and she tells you that you will be a grandfather. But several months in, the fetus isn’t viable. "Daddy, I need your help, the doctors won't do anything until I'm the one dying." As she's left in pain for hours or days as her body rejects the fetus without medical support.
And the only response you have is, "I did this to you too."
Or like a hypocritical coward you run her to a state that protected her body autonomy because you made yourself rich bamboozling people into your toxic rhetoric. At the end, your daughter still suffered your actions.
