Zero and I have been friends for about 10 years now, and in those 10 years we discovered we're both non-binary. Whilst I'm sapphic, they're achillean. (Like they said in their post) we're the exact opposite yet the same, and I'm glad to be able to celebrate that with them!

I picture Maggie with the cutest big ole down-turned(?) eyes and rlly cute-looking. Also lips perfect for Alex's smooches.

For Sam's hijab style, I went with one I see most commonly worn by teens in my country. I think it's very cute on her, but I'm not sure how it would be practical so in future Sam art, I'll probably experiment with diff styles and see what sticks.

I think Alex is the most similar to the book descriptions and official art here tbh, but I love the idea of her having a few moles, bigger hair and thicker brows. Also maybe slightly taller than Maggie.

but I'll make a separate post where they're all full body and their heights are according to what I imagine !

Last night I dreamt that there was a Shoujo slice-of-life romance called “unusually tall prince” and it revolved around this regular 5’5 girl and her boyfriend of the same age who’s like 8 feet tall and wears his princely attire everywhere. He was homeschooled and she wasn’t but he made an effort to pick her up and take her either to his or her home and treat her family like they were his in-laws already and most of the episodes ended with her running and jumping into his arms while a song similar to the Ouran Highschool Host Club ending song played.

Yes, this is my dragonfruit oc, and I love them too much to not insert them into everything lol. I added a speedpaint just in case anyone wants to see my process from scratch!

I'm really proud of this one. I rlly had to step out of my comfort zone and trust the process. It turned out better than I thought it would and I definitely will be trying this style again.

Some school assignments!! So, here's some stuff I did for finals and midterms, all character design-related, I guess.

The first was for my western art review class in which we had to combine 3 paintings from different art movements and create a character inspired from them. I took heavy inspiration from "The Nightmare" by Henry Fuselli, combining it vaguely with "The Gleaners" by Jean-Francois Millet and "Intervention of the Sabine Women" by Jacques-Louis David. I did make a breakdown of these paintings and their characters I made from them but I won't share that for obvious reasons.

The second is Hanuman, or 'Anoman' in my culture, For my Eastern art Review midterms, I was to take any character from Indonesian Wayang and reimagine them in a completely different style- to which I chose Monster Roadtrip as the style isn't too far off from the one i have.

The last two are for my Eastern Art Review midterms in which I had to create a character inspired by two ancient artifacts. To which we chose japanese ceremonial bells and chinese wine vessels. The first design is alright, but seeing as a lot of people ended up going with a deity-inspired, hanfu-wearing design, I wanted to make my character stand out by making him the exact opposite. His clothes are inspired by the way the japanese ceremonial bells rust overtime, his skin taking inspo from the chinese wine vessels we used as reference. He carries around one of these vessels where a little fruit spirit resides. I decided to give him the name "Masake", a play on the name "Masaki" and the word "Sake" because we love a silly drunken uncle character.

Alright so these are my OCs named Sini (left) and Sana (right). One evening I was in the shower and this song I used to sing a lot with my friends as a kid popped up in my head. It's an Indo children's song

Disini senang, di sana senang, dimana-mana hatiku senang. (meaning; over here I am happy, over there I am happy, everywhere my heart is happy).

And for some reason my brain thought of this super cute queer college romance between two Indo art students (though I'm not sure what type of art they'd be majoring in) with polar opposite personalities. Quiet vs Feral type beat.

Fierrochase headcanons!!

Magnus’s ideal date is definitely some falafel in either his and Alex’s rooms’ atriums either with her by his side and bickering with him, or him just chilling while she makes art. He just kinda silently admires her and looks away everytime she notices he’s staring.

Magnus also likes holding Alex’s hand but it takes a while for him to get over the initial awkwardness that washes over him when he does.

Alex likes when he messages her hands after she’s done working on pottery. They definitely love physical contact but are too awkward to move on from leaning on eachother shortly or handholding.

Magnus helps Alex dye and redye her hair and Alex likes cutting and combing his. Also she’s definitely a forehead kiss giver once they’ve gotten a lil more comfortable with eachother.

Alex shapeshifts when she’s nervous (canon btw, I love all those tidbits in Hammer of Thor), and my headcanon is that her go-to would be a chinchilla or sparrow when Magnus pulls some shit like initiating a kiss or surprising her from behind.

Not specifically fierrochase but I think floor 19 has definitely planned and made obstacle courses for Alex to complete with shapeshifting (with Alex’s input ofc).
