Experimented with my style a little bit

I know recently I've been leaning into the scratchy style a little bit but honestly had no clue how to draw hair in that style until I discovered this new technique of just filling hair in with a textured brush x____x I think my life's been saved, honestly. Like I can finally move on with my life and just lean into the scratchy style more. Anyways, here's Micah Yujin from Error143 bc I cannot shut up about that game lmao

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO POST THESE

Despite bnha being very near and dear to my heart for a shonen anime (and that's very rare for shonen specifically), I don't really draw a lot of fully colored fanart of it.

Anyways, art on the left is fanart I made in 2018 when I was just getting into the show (using my aunt's years-old copic markers lol), and art on the right is a redraw from just a few minutes ago using procreate.

The MCGA gang.

I picture Maggie with the cutest big ole down-turned(?) eyes and rlly cute-looking. Also lips perfect for Alex's smooches.

For Sam's hijab style, I went with one I see most commonly worn by teens in my country. I think it's very cute on her, but I'm not sure how it would be practical so in future Sam art, I'll probably experiment with diff styles and see what sticks.

I think Alex is the most similar to the book descriptions and official art here tbh, but I love the idea of her having a few moles, bigger hair and thicker brows. Also maybe slightly taller than Maggie.

but I'll make a separate post where they're all full body and their heights are according to what I imagine !
