Aside from info-dumps and explaining things, Tech's pretty nonverbal half the time. He has the commentary because he finds it easier to be sarcastic than to be sincere. But also because he doesn't know how to have conversations without losing his brothers' attention or them making a face. He feels if he doesn't have something useful to say, he shouldn't speak at all. Seems to make it easier on his brothers, if he doesn't talk. He's very conscious of the fact his brothers never really listen to him, it bugs him, oh how it bugs him. But he's not brave enough to say anything, because that wound has been protected under a bandage since he was a cadet, he's afraid if he brings it up, he'll feel like a little kid again. He hates not being listened to, so he doesn't speak unless they're going to listen to him.

Echo noticed this, he thinks it's rude. Sure, he needs to do better in giving his attention to Tech, because Tech always listens. Echo asked if it bugs Tech, that they never really listen to him and it was the first time Tech looked very visibly hurt. He didn't even say anything at first, he just stared at Echo with that look of nothing but years of repressed pain. He turned away and looked down. What he was thinking about, Echo didn't know. But then Tech said, "It doesn't matter if I did." Echo didn't have the heart to ask again.

Tech, aside from Wrecker, sleeps the most. He's always doing something at the most random hours, so his brothers worry that he isn't getting sleep. But he sleeps all the time. Tech can fall asleep anywhere so when he's tired he'll just close his eyes. He's fallen asleep while piloting, fixing the ship (they'll find his legs peaking out from under a panel or up in a vent), working on Echo's prosthetics (which makes him mad 'cause when he wakes up he has another idea for an improvement), also, how he manages to fall asleep while working doesn't make sense at all, so who knows. He'll fall asleep anywhere but never in his bed. If Wrecker can keep Tech asleep, he'll carry him to bed and take a nap with him. But, Tech's a light sleeper so he usually wakes up, jumps out of Wrecker's arms and goes about his business.

Oh, aside from weird places, he also sleeps in wierd positions. He's usually curled up, on Kamino, he always had something on his bed so it became a habit. His favorite place to sleep is his scrap box, which is full of wires, scrap metal, and whatever else. Why Tech sleeps there, don't ask. But he likes it more than his bed so Echo moved his goggles stand by it and there's always a spare blanket within reach. Sometimes, if Wrecker's careful, he can scoot the box around, he usually just moves it by their beds so if he ever needs them during the night, they're right there.

Tech was the last one to grow. All his brothers towered over him, they'd gotten stronger, deeper voices, everything, but for a while, Tech didn't. He was still small, scrawny and sickly. He remembered being incredibly frustrated all the time, lashing out and bringing nothing but pain to himself and everyone around. It wasn't his fault, Hunter tells him, he was only a little kid.

Tech's a hot head. Well, he used to be. Not in the sense he got mad at everything, but he was incredibly frustrated all the time and if the right thing followed, he'd burst. He's gotten a lot better at controlling his emotions, most of the time he forgets how deeply he actually feels everything. But when he gets mad, oh, he's mad. When Tech was younger, he'd always smash whatever project he was working on, he'd never take it out on his bothers, only ever on himself. So by smashing a project he'd spend months at a time on, it was a way of killing an old version of himself. That way, once that project was reduced to scraps, he could begin again. Now a days, just don't make him mad.
