Y’all, Just Stop Using Shinigami Eyes. TERFs Are Green, Intersex People Are Red, Trans People Are Red,

Y’all, just stop using Shinigami Eyes. TERFs are green, intersex people are red, trans people are red, it’s just not working anymore. I literally had someone bust into my inbox telling me someone was a terf based solely on the fact that her name was red when it turns out she was a staunch anti-radfem and trans herself.

May I add that anybody with visible top surgery scars is at risk of being attacked?

Did we all collectively forget about that cis guy with gynecomastia scars who was assaulted because people thought he was a trans man?

It's not just about looking too manly, or having visible breasts. Any visible indicator that you're trans puts you at risk.

Trfs: "transandrobros keep making everything about trans women, even when it has nothing to do with trans women!"

I think whatever you replied on that post got immediately hidden by the OP

Hey sounds about right. I’ll say it better because I think it needs to be said.

Here is what has happened: Trans women created a word to describe their experiences and then used that word to talk about the oppression they face. Trans men, who face similar but different oppression, coined a similar but different word and are using that word to talk about their experiences.

If you are someone who genuinely believes that trans women deserve to have a word and space to talk about their oppression, but trans men are “talking over” them by doing the exact same thing, it reveals your biased worldview in which the experiences of trans women deserve to be heard more than those of trans men.

The internet is infinite and making a space for one group does not take away space from another. Both groups can speak.

Trans women and trans men both deserve a space to speak on trans experiences. As do nonbinary people who consider themselves under the trans umbrella.

"Men aren't oppressed for being men"

Trans men are real men. Trans manhood is real manhood. Trans men are oppressed for being trans men.

You're just a transphobe who hasn't actually internalized trans manhood as real manhood.

You only view manhood as an oppressive force rather than a real, genuine identity someone can feel connected to. This is transphobic.

You don't value the full scope of trans men's experiences as we define them for ourselves. You want us to sit down, shut up and let others make the decisions for us. Something most of us have been told all of our lives but is somehow progressive now that we're men....huh. Our voices are lifted up by feminist language for the misogyny we experience before we transition and then we're thrown out on the curb when we transition. We're "on thin ice" while we're pressured to self flagellate and be ashamed of our identity and when we begin to talk about the complexities of our issues we have our experiences flattened and dismissed.

You can't say trans men are men and try to dissect the trans part from the man part. You are inclined to do this because you have anti-transmasculine biases. Our experiences are the experiences of men, marginalized men who are not valued by the system.

I’d rather be considered the ‘wrong’ kind of trans man by being authentically myself and happy, than suppress/kill off the parts of myself that other queer and cis people think are ‘evil’ to earn a ‘one of the good ones’ badge that they’ll strip me of at any hint of noncompliance to their whims.

the hate of polyamorous people feels so arbitrary to me. like i know bigotry is irrational but like. you understand the appeal of threesomes and foursomes but you can't respect when people love multiple people. even though you have multiple friends. there's gunk in your brain

people on here will brag about how awful they are to AFAB trans people ("""TMEs""") like they're somehow getting back at the cishet queerphobes. i don't know how to break it to you that cishet queerphobes also hate AFAB people. you're not being progressive by doing the exact same thing but because AFAB trans people aren't "acceptable" trans people, or whatever. singling out and bullying and abusing AFAB trans people isn't helping society accept AMAB trans women any faster. admitting that you don't view them as trans is literal transphobia. it's the exact same shit you were taught by cisheteronormative patriarchy. you're not coming up with something new by finding even more ways and reasons to treat AFAB trans people like shit.

cisheteronormative patriarchy already discredits AFAB people and tells them they can't be reliable narrators and that they have no idea what they're talking about, especially with regards to their own identities and the decisions they make. this isn't feminism. this isn't gender or sex liberation. it's the opposite. you don't get to treat AFAB people like shit just like literally everyone else and try to put some kind of fake radical liberal spin on it to make it acceptable.

the radical feminism on this site is so insidious and widespread that even trans people are falling into it left and right despite it directly and immediately hurting us all.

this is an example of why people say "you are not immune to propaganda". if you as a trans person fall into the radical feminism pipeline i am begging you to take a second to remember:

misogyny is not the be-all-end-all of oppression. men can be oppressed. women can be oppressors. men can be victims of gendered violence. women can be the perpetrators of gendered violence. the gender and sex binaries are not real, and nonbinary and intersex people deserve to have their voices heard, too. our community is a spectrum of all different identities and expriences that are stronger together than we are apart. all of our voices are important and all of our experiences deserve to be heard.

and most importantly: anyone telling you otherwise has a vested interest in dividing up the trans community for political gain. do not do their work for them.
