there was a great study a few years that went into the whole "ppl online are bigger jerks than irl cuz theres a virtual wall and no repercussions" and the researchers were expecting to see that be the case but it turns out that people who were really angry or argumentative online were also found to just be assholes in person and people who were pretty patient and nice online were found to be patient and nice in real person as well

My friend Siraj ( @siraj2024 ) finally collected the amount needed to return home to North of Gaza. Thank you all so much but please do not forget that there is still a long way to go. Siraj still needs to start rebuilding the life he lost under these fifteen months of genocide; his home in which he poured ten years of his life has been bombed twice and cannot be lived in. His office is gone, and it will take some time before Siraj is able to resume work.
