Personally Id Rather Not Have Control Over Perceived Reality

It’s like talking about alters as “whole people” makes DID more palatable for others somehow.  If they can view us as just this quirky cast of characters who happen to share a body then it’s less sad, or maybe even less disturbing. They can reframe it into something that might even sound fun or beneficial to them, like “3 friends for the price of 1!” 

I’m starting to think that viewing us as one whole traumatized person with many dissociated parts is just too depressing and too “weird” for a lot of people. It’s harder for them to wrap their heads around. They can’t grasp the way we are both disconnected from each other and still a part of each other. They can’t make sense of the way we overlap and blend together. We don’t fit into neat little boxes. We aren’t a straight forward cast of characters.

but is he a guy who is at the end of a 15 hour shift with a mass shooting who is suffering from withdrawal watching himself hit rock bottom??? yes

addiction, like ptsd, is a disease and both robby and frank are at their lows and taking it out on each other in the wrong way

robby needs therapy

frank needs rehab

i hope the show tackles that in some way

why tf do endos treat being a system like its an identity that you can pick and choose to label? why do they constantly push the transphobic rhetoric of using "traumascum" to refer to traumatized individuals that just dont want people to treat their symptoms like its fun?

being plural/being a system is nothing like being lgbtq+ and i really think we need to stop treating it as such

yes we are a community, but this community is one formed on the basis of being traumatized as kids, its not based on something we choose to refer to ourselves as

we need to be there to support each other but not blindly. we need to help spread information to others with the symptoms so they can receive help.

you wouldnt treat people with personality disorders the way you treat systems so why is it acceptable to treat systems this way?

im not saying you can be mtf in an afab body or ftm in an amab body while fronting

but there are identities under the trans umbrella that you can be that falls under masc and fem and honestly not respecting those identities feels more transphobic

our jesper age slides like its a slip n slide and our kaz takes care of him most of the time when hes not regressed, and our inej and aleksander are caretakers too

AGE REGRESSOR KAZ PART TWO

If Jesper and Inej are in the know:

-jesper would play with him (hc jes regresses to ~10-12)

-inej would be extra protective of her boys

-inej and jesper would absolutely dote on their boy like he needs a snack? jesper's on it. a drink? inej is already holding it

-they would take turns covering for kaz when it comes to work stuff

-jesper likes to tell him stories his mom used to tell him and inej likes to tell him the stories of her saints

-they sit right next to him so he can feel their body heats and know that theyre there even tho he cant deal with touch

-if theyre gone for too long he starts slipping younger and crying

-eventually they work up to being able to scratch his head (kaz deserves head scratches gosh darn it) and he absolutely melts into them

-jesper gets kaz a soft and warm blanket made out of a patchwork of brightly colored fabrics that match some of his outfits so that he always has a part of him with him

-jesper also makes little metal toys for kaz to enjoy

-inej tracks down sweets and

more stuffed animals for kaz to enjoy

-JESPER ABSOLUTELY GETS HIM A STUFFED GOAT NAMED MILO
