Lets talk about how easy it is to abuse a narcissist.
Someone who's sense of worth is so fragile and dependant on the external is incredibly easy to manipulate and have power over. Someone who experiences being wrong as a threat to their entire being is less willing to admit they are being abused and leave. DARVOing is so much easier when society has decided your victim is the monster and inherently abusive themselves. The reactions of a narcissist to being abused can be of the kind that makes it easy to be labelled as "mutually abusive" (which is a myth, by the way, it is self defense)
There is no reason to think "mentally ill people are more likely to be abused than abuse others)" does not also apply to narcissists.
THIS THIS THIS
people on the reddit sub for the pitt demonizing frank for yelling at robby as if hes not a man who is scared for his job and his life???
like was what he said the right thing? no
is his addiction like robby's ptsd? no
but is he a guy who is at the end of a 15 hour shift with a mass shooting who is suffering from withdrawal watching himself hit rock bottom??? yes
addiction, like ptsd, is a disease and both robby and frank are at their lows and taking it out on each other in the wrong way
robby needs therapy
frank needs rehab
i hope the show tackles that in some way
chronic illness life is going to see a new primary care doc and getting five referrals by the end of the appointment
would anyone be interested in like a system news youtuber type of thing? that updates everyone on syscourse, drama, and medical updates from a nonbiased view? along with just talking about being a system and how it impacts things?
if i see one more person calling marc the “original” or saying he “created” steven and jake i am going to actually lose my freakin mind.
That! Is! Not! How! This! Works!
do some god damn research before making uneducated assumptions on how dissociative identity disorder works

Thank you for adding onto this conversation with an informative view. i can see why some would choose to see it from that perspective of it as a comparison. i guess my biggest issue is comparing being a system to being a gender. its just not something i see as being able to be compared on an even level.
why tf do endos treat being a system like its an identity that you can pick and choose to label? why do they constantly push the transphobic rhetoric of using "traumascum" to refer to traumatized individuals that just dont want people to treat their symptoms like its fun?
being plural/being a system is nothing like being lgbtq+ and i really think we need to stop treating it as such
yes we are a community, but this community is one formed on the basis of being traumatized as kids, its not based on something we choose to refer to ourselves as
we need to be there to support each other but not blindly. we need to help spread information to others with the symptoms so they can receive help.
you wouldnt treat people with personality disorders the way you treat systems so why is it acceptable to treat systems this way?
