đšHello againđš
Note: I lost my old campaign and had to create a new campaign. I am now starting over with you, but I know that you are by my side and will not leave me alone in this war and this bad situation. My child and I are in great need of your support. I hope that you will continue to support me as before.
We are a small family consisting of 3 members. We lived a beautiful life. I worked as a lawyer and my husband worked in programming. We lived in peace and security before October 7, but since that time we have not lived a single fine day. We were in our house at the beginning of the war, but We have Ahtaho Khan Yunis. We were the first people to leave. There was artillery shelling over our heads. Many died before our eyes. We escaped death and ran away more than 7 times while we were in Rafah and made tents.. Now we are in a tent after we were living a good life and we have a beautiful house. But unfortunately, the occupation has destroyed it. We are dying every second and every minute. If it is not from the occupation, then it is from living in a tent made of nylon in this extreme heat, or from the high prices through which we are unable to buy the simplest necessities of life. My child is exposed to many diseases and gets very tired. I appeal to those with good hearts to look at our situation, how we were and how we have become
I hope you see my account and see what we are suffering from, a new displacement and new tents. We are now sleeping in the street, me and my little child. He is suffering a lot. I don't know what awaits us. Our situation is very bad and difficult. It is truly tragic. I hope you help us with your donations, even if they are small. Don't forget us. We are in a difficult situation and my little child cannot bear it. I wish I had given him a better life than this, but he is not well now. He cannot enjoy his life or play like other children. He has become very afraid and cries a lot. I hope you help us and give us hope again. We need you and your constant support. I hope you look at us again and feel what we feel and what we live. Perhaps your donations will be the reason for saving my life and the life of my little child. I hope you always remember us and do not forget us.
Asking for help is not easy .l request a small donation of $ 10 or $25 from each person .$20 will save my family and help me cover travel expensesx
Donate even ÂŁ5, even if it is small, it does a lot for us, helps us stay alive and gives us hope to continue our lives and that we can build a new life with these donations.
Donate to me and my little boy, he needs your support and your donation
When the 14-year-old Black American boy Emmett Till was lynched in 1955, one cartoonist responded in a single-panel comic. It showed one Black girl telling another: âI donât want to seem touchy on the subject⌠but that new little white tea-kettle just whistled at me!â
It may not seem radical today, but penning such a political cartoon was a bold and brave statement for its time â especially for the artist who was behind it. This cartoon was drawn by Jackie Ormes, the first syndicated Black American woman cartoonist to be published in a newspaper. Ormes, who grew up in Pittsburgh, got her first break as cartoonist as a teenager. She started working for the Pittsburgh Courier as a sports reporter, then editor, then cartoonist who penned her first comic, Torchy Brown in Dixie to Harlem, in 1937. It followed a Mississippi teen who becomes a famous singer at the famed Harlem jazz club, The Cotton Club.
In 1942, Ormes moved to Chicago, where she drew her most popular cartoon, Patty-Jo ânâ Ginger, which followed two sisters who made sharp political commentary on Black American life.Â
In 1947, Ormes created the Patty-Jo doll, the first Black doll that wasnât a mammy doll or a Topsy-Turvy doll. In production for a decade, it was a role model for young black girls. "The doll was a fashionable, beautiful character,â says Daniel Schulman, who curated one of the dolls into a recent Chicago exhibition. âIt had an extraordinary presence and power â theyâre collected today and have important place in American doll-making in the U.S.â
In 1950, Ormes drew her final strip, Torchy in Heartbeats, which followed an independent, stylish black woman on the quest for love â who commented on racism in the South. âTorchy was adventurous, we never saw that with an Black American female figure,â says Beauchamp-Byrd. âAnd remember, this is the 1950s.â Ormes was the first to portray black women as intellectual and socially-aware in a time when they were depicted in a derogatory way.
One common mistake that erased Ormes from history is mis-crediting Barbara Brandon-Croft as the first nationally syndicated Black American female cartoonist. âIâm just the first mainstream cartoonist, Iâm not the first at all,â says Brandon-Croft, who published her cartoons in the Detroit Free Press in the 1990s. âSo much of Black history has been ignored, itâs a reminder that Black history shouldnât just be celebrated in February.â

I am a mother of four young men living on the street in a tent after being displaced several times and losing our source of income.
My children lost their education, schools and universities, they lost their dreams and ambitions
Due to overcrowding and the abundance of insects and animals, we suffer from many skin diseases and epidemics.

Okay, hereâs the other skit for my other version of the Mermaid!AU~!
Compared to the Marine Biologist!AU, this version has Yuu getting stranded on an island while on a scuba diving trip, and their goal is not only to find a way to get home, but also to discover the secrets of the island and uncover the history behind what caused the mermaids and the avians (aka like Rook since heâs a seagull) to be separated and turned into mere mythology.
What youâre about to read was more or less a writing exercise I wrote and edited for a possible part when Yuu first wakes up. I donât think Iâm going to use this as part of the prologue, but itâs still a possibility if anyone else wanted to imagine this situation once I get it started!
Reminder: there is a language barrier between the humans and mermaids/avians, meaning that things we know the names of would be things they donât know. Just like in the Little Mermaid! 0v0
Enjoy~!
////ââ////
DripâŚdripâŚdripâŚâŚ
A quiet groan escaped as Yuu slowly opened their eyes, grunting and gasping as they slowly picked themselves up. Their body was battered and sore, their lungs burning as cold, damp air chilled their skin. Struggling to gather their thoughts, slowly but surely the memories of what happened came flooding back. What the hell was thatâŚthatâŚthing they saw?! What could possibly exist in the world that could destroy an entire ship in one swipe?! Howâ
HowâŚdid they survive?
âWhereâŚam I?â Yuu uttered, looking at their surroundings. It became clear that they were inside a cave, a large pool of water nearby illuminated with a bright blue-green light that made ripples across the ceiling. The stone walls were also covered with glowing blue lights, slowly fading in and out like glittering stars. Were these glow worms? WaitâŚno, those hung from the ceiling. Some type of crystal?
On trying to stand to get a closer look at the wall, however, they collapsed the moment they tried to put any weight on their leg. In the dim lighting, they could see that their leg was wrapped tightly in seaweed. Peeling it away, they discovered a strange paste covering a large gash in the wet suitâs leg and an injury that looked mostly healed. Where had it come from? Who wrapped their leg up in seaweed and tended to their injuries?
âWhatâsâŚgoing on?â they uttered, noticing the array of random junk and items nearby. It looked like random stuff that had come from ships, some old, broken, and tattered while others were sealed in water-tight containers. Digging around one of the containers, Yuu found several survival kits inside and a survival guidebook in a waterproof bag and immediately pulled out the thermal blanket to wrap around their cold body. Sighing as their body began to warm up, they looked around once again and wondered, âHow did I even get here?â
Bloop!
Yuuâs eyes landed on the pool of water nearby, staring at the rippling surface.
Bloop!
Their heart skipped a beat as they scuttled away from the edge, clutching the blanket around them tightly as they stared. Even from this angle they spotted two shadowy shapes appearing, both slowly growing larger and larger. âWhat is that?!â they thought, heart hammering in their chest. Thenâright before their eyesâa head emerged from the water.
A humanoid head with fins on its head.
Bright green eyes stared at them, the creatureâs skin a mix of soft and dark blue with a black spade mark on its face partly hidden by the dark blue hair on its head. Its jaw dropped open as the fish it had been carrying fell, floating in the water. Seconds later, a second head emerged from the water with a head of bright red hair and a red heart-shaped mark on the opposite side of its face. This one looked annoyed as it chittered and squeaked something at its friendâŚbefore it too stopped and stared at Yuu.
ââŚâŚIâŚIâm dreaming,â Yuu whispered. âIâm delirious and imagining fish-people in the water. Thereâs no way this is realâŚâ
Thenâin what looked like whisperingâthe creatures began quietly clicking and chittering at one another.
///â///
ââŚdudeâŚitâs awakeâŚâ
âI knowâŚâ
âWhy is it awake?!â
âI thought it was going to still be unconscious by the time we left the fish for it!â
âDude, I told you to leave that thing alone! What if itâs dangerous?!â
âIf it were dangerous, it would have already attacked us, Ace!â
The cavern echoed their words back at them, both of them glancing back and forth between each other and the strange two-legged creature.
âThis is not good,â Ace uttered, gripping his head nervously. âSeriously, what are we going to do? How are we going to explain this to the others?! What even is it in the first place??â
âI donât know!â Deuce snapped. âMaybeâŚtheyâre a deformed seal? Or an avian who lost their wings?â
âThen how do you explain the flippers on its legs instead of talons?â Ace pointed out. He did a double-take and asked, âAnd did it just grow a new set of silver scales? Thatâs so weird!â
âWeird or not, it still needed our help, Ace!â Deuce said with a frown. âThey only appeared right after the Island Guardian reacted to that small metal whale, right? So maybeâŚitâs a new species that came from another island seeking help?â
Ace groaned as he shook his head. âWeâre going to be in so much trouble once Riddle finds out about thisâŚâ
âYouâre the one who said you wanted to go out beyond the void after getting him angry in the first place.â
âOh, shut up.â
âEem treemin,â the creature mumbled, shaking their head before smacking their palms against the sides of their head. âEem treemin, eem treeminâŚ!â
âIsâŚis it okay?â Deuce asked, cautiously swimming forward to try and check on them.
Spotting movement nearby, Ace noticed a brightly colored form slithering across the cavern floor as it crawled across the silver skin around the creatureâs body. It seemed to notice its new visitor too andâwith wide eyesâit jumped up with a shriek.
âAAAAA!!â
âAAAAA!!!â
âAAAAAAA!!!â

Hello, sorry for having to ask but I feel the loss of my energy and my ability to help my family, and this has affected my health, my father is a heart patient who had a heart catheterization operation due to blocked arteries before the war, and he got food poisoning because my family can't provide one meal a day. our children face the winter cold, without thick clothes and blankets to protect their little bodies from the cold.
Please your help will give us hope that humanity has not yet been lost. Any donation, no matter how small, is appreciated, and if you can't, please share our story . Thank you <3 đđşđď¸đ¸Alsaidi family âŁď¸Vetted â â â

Hello!
This young woman was pushed out onto the street and could use some assistance. If you canât donate, please help me spread this as much as possible!
After returning to northern Gaza, we have no home, no water, no electricity, and the transportation is difficult. Life is hard, and we are facing many challenges like these.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported and contributed to me and my family during this time.
My friends remember every donation, no matter how small, makes a significant difference and holds great value in helping us to improve our lives during these challenging times.

Is there anything I can do to help Palestinians besides call my representatives and beg them to stop killing people?
This is a great question. There are a few things you can doâjust off the top of my head:
BDS (Boycott, Divest, Sanction) https://bdsmovement.net/
Direct Action https://www.palestineaction.org/
Urge your University/School/Organization to put out a statement denouncing Israel
Organize a Protest/Participate in a local one
You might already be doing this but while calling your reps, tell them that as a voter, you're unwilling to support them in the upcoming election unless they urge the White House to take a stand against Israel and stop funding them
Share art/writing/films around Palestinian culture
If you're part of a union, ask them what they're doing to urge their industry leaders to take a stand against Israel + pressure the White House OR urge them to start a strike/walkout/etc if they're not doing anything already
Talk with your friends IRL about Palestine, whether in an activist capacity or watching a movie or literally anything
Reach out to a mosque to see if you can help them with anything
See if your city/state council has put out a statement in support of Gazans. If not, try to push them to do so.
Donate to Palestine Legal or Direct Action if you have some money to spare
KEEP TALKING ON SOCIAL MEDIA!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know some of these don't feel like they have as big of an impact on helping Palestinians, but we do need to make an effort not to forget their humanity in the face of continued erasure and the media's sensationalist rhetoric.
Talking on social media and postingâwhile not seeming like a lotâdoes SO much. I know in USAmerica, it's like yelling into a void, but political analysts are saying that most of the "Global South" has completely lost any amount of goodwill it may have had the past few years. Hopefully, countries will start to put sanctions and embargoes en masse on the US and Israel soon.
Our goals here are BOTH short-term and long-term. We hope for the life and liberation of the Palestinian people, so anything that you can think of might help at some point in the future is encouraged to at least try.
If anyone else has any more ideas, feel free to reblog and add on. Thank you for asking, and here is to a liberated Palestine where Palestinians can live and thrive without fear.
