i've recently noticed a pattern that i'm not sure that i like. we have hundreds of fundraisers circulating on this site. many of them go without donations for days/weeks. if any fundraiser receives donations, its because the posts stand out/ something very tragic has happened to someone in the family.

for example, the nineteen year old, Shaban Al-Dalou, who was burnt alive a few days ago had a fundraiser. the family only reached their goal after losing that poor boy. i cannot understand why couldn't we have helped him before? i dont know how the family will cope with his loss.

so ask yourself, is genocide not a simple enough reason to donate? or do you need the family to be hit with a tragedy to even consider donating? everyone, i mean EVERYONE in gaza has experienced unimaginable loss and pain and destruction. they've lost their homes, livlihood, friends and family.

humanity has existed for so long because we care. we love each other and are hurt to see others' suffering.

you don't have to wait for tragedy to strike someone to donate. they are going through starvation, forced displacement, and mass murder. please care about this.

do not decrease the meaning of the word genocide. it breaks my heart to see the suffering of the people of gaza at the hands of their colonizers.

I've just got one thing left to say, save my friend mahmoud and his family. they deserve to live just like everyone. help him secure a better future for his family.

Unbearable hardships

I have to travel long distances just to get water, and stand in line for hours to get food. My mental health and the health of my children deteriorated due to the war. The right to a peaceful life

My children deserve to live a peaceful life free of fear and anxiety. My dream is for your help to support my family and escape this genocide. Your help means the world to me and my children.

The cost of arranging travel for an adult outside Gaza currently ranges between $5,000 and $7,000, and $2,500 per child.

But it seems to be really happening, you are so close! It's hard to believe but this ceasefire is only hours away! I love knowing you and your children are filled with joy and hope right now, able to see light after this long dark war of extermination. Those of us who've had the honor of meeting you in this terrible time are all eager to celebrate along side you. A ceasefire will come, and some day soon, so will a free Palestine. I hope you get my message while you're fine. I'm Tahseen Alkhazendar, from Gaza, Palestine. I'm a hardworking and responsible father striving to secure a decent life for my wife and 3 children. After October 7th, our life took a drastic turn with the commencement of the cruel war on Gaza. Unfortunately everything I owned is completely lost after my house and business got bombed and destroyed. We are currently suffering slow death and living a devastating life in Gaza.

Hello everyone, I think there is a new danger coming to us with the beginning of winter. In the beginning, the weather started with light breezes that made the curtains fly, and sometimes the wind exposed us and we caught colds. On Sunday, the first rains of autumn began, and I think we began a journey of intense fear because some of the displaced persons’ tents sank due to the rain and the sea, and because we are... close to the sea, we all suffered that night.

Now we need a tarp to cover our tent to protect my little boy from the cold who has no immunity to diseases.We don't have the money to buy it because its price has increased four or five times what it was.I ask you to donate to protect ourselves and my little baby. I need to buy him winter clothes because of the high temperatures. I cannot buy them. Please help us.

“My name is Eslam from Gaza, I’m 29 years old, and I’m a children teacher from Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. a mother of two daughters, Hanaa 5 years old, and Alma, 10 months old. My husband Rasmi is the director of 3 language and training centers. In this war, our house was completely destroyed and razed to the ground, and my husband’s centers were blown up. He lost his job, and we were completely displaced, and we are now homeless and jobless, My two young daughters constantly suffer from diseases due to malnutrition and water pollution.

Danger and death surround us all day and all night. We have lost everything and depend on donations to survive and, most of all, to have any hope of escaping this genocide and evacuating to safety in Egypt. There is no kind of detergent and this is the cause of skin diseases for my two little girls. We bought a piece of soap for $30! ، and detergent is 100$"

We had a beautiful and warm home that embraced and sheltered us, me and my children. It had all the means of comfort and safety. Mustafa is my eldest son. He was very good at his studies. He was studying engineering. As for my second son, he was waiting to graduate from high school in preparation for entering university. My youngest son, who is 14 years old, was one of the smartest students in his school. My youngest daughter Dana, in the third grade, always plays and frolics in her room with her friends,
