I totally agree. And the break up also served to show how much Amy has grown and that she could live without Sheldon (she just didn't want to ) , she still had friends, she became more socially tolerable and last but not least, she showed that she was capable of relating to whoever she wanted, she didn't stay with Sheldon just because she couldn't find anyone else. It shut a lot of people up and showed the character's development very well.
idkkkk bro everytime I see someone says “amy forced sheldon” I feel like we did not watch the same show
OMG why did they insist on making Amy and Bernie fight all the time? I mean, they are two amazing scientists and very successful in their respective fields, why couldn't they just get along? It's unnecessary for them to pick the boys' fights, while they (girls) were fighting, they (boys) were already making up. I think it was part of the humor of the time, but it's still a waste of development. I don't know how to explain what I think, but that's it.
I literally saw the original today and thought about it.
Saw this audio on Insta and the yuri gods gave me this divine duty

I'm sure that before they decided on the baby's name Shamy, Sheldon asked Raj if the condition of naming all their children in honor of him was still standing .
I didn't know I needed to see this until I saw it

pov: cannot control the sexual tension
It's interesting how, in a subtle and somewhat subjective way, they managed to demonstrate how the topic of "marriage" and "proposing" affected Sheldon after his breakup with Amy.
Every time a conversation involved marriage or commitment, Sheldon became extremely defensive. My favorite example is his last meeting with Amy at the aquarium, where she explains the game "kiss, marry, kill" and he retorts that his version was better because it didn't involve getting married.
It's necessary to watch part of their relationship at least twice to understand how it works. And, in my opinion, after the reconciliation, I felt that Sheldon wanted to show Amy how much he could be the boyfriend she deserves, so that he could be the husband she deserves. But the more time passed, the more insecure he also felt. I think that deep down he was afraid of her response, like that she would leave him again.
