[awkward whumpee vibes]
Always checking to see if they did something wrong.
Whumpee is talking but they trail off as they realize everyone is staring at them. "What... What was it this time? The part about the crushing?"
Whumpee getting so terrified of losing this new-found safety that they start creeping around on eggshells trying to be invisible. It's too good to be true and they just want the illusion to stay for as long as possible.
"You can pretend to be my friends, lie to me, torture me, but I will never tell you what you want to know." "Whumpee, I just want to know if pepperoni sounds good." *Long pause* "...Is that like a meat thing or...."
"oh, fuck, i'm sorry, I got blood on your rug, shit shit shi--" "WHUMPEE YOU NEED STITCHES!" "Yeah but I can heal and the rug--" "forget about the damn rug!"
If someone raises their voice, whumpee flinches and responds with a "yes sir" before they can think a out it.
Protesting too much. "I don't take orders from you."
"I'm not just an asset!" "I'm not saying you are, whumpee--" "then put this back, I don't need nice clothes to have the same rights as you!"
"whumpee, you can stop looking out the window every five seconds. We're in a safe zone." "Yeah, for now," whumpee glances out again.
Patting people's backs to see if they're wearing a wire, disguising it really well as just sincere friendliness and warmth
And then losing all that when they sit down and take out their gun and just set it on the dinner table. "....What?" Whumpee frowns in confusion. "Can I not clean my gun? Do I not get to have my own weapon?"
"whumpee, can you not spray wd-40 right next to my plate. I'm eating here." "Come on, it's not even that poisonous. besides, this gun isn't gonna clean itself."
"Can you not have dinner like a normal person?!" "Already finished."
*whumpee points out a tactical advantage* "Calm down whumpee, it's just snakes and ladders." Whumpee stares at the board, feeling their sense of usefulness drain away.
Going over the times they were completely badass until it gets annoying.
When they realize they're only good at killing. And they almost want to go back to it, because at least then they had a purpose.
a collection of sketches motivated by the question "what if the abuse happens but Touya stays?"
Every now and again, Noelle breaks things.
Not as in she accidentally snaps a pencil or messes up when fixing a grapple, though that does happen, when Noelle breaks things on purpose it’s… a lot.
A trope I love is the moment Caretaker just goes 'Damn it'
That moment Whumpee says/does something that makes Caretaker realize just how fucked up Whumpee's life has been. Maybe they tried to hate Whumpee, maybe Whumpee was their enemy, and now they have to realize Whumpee isn't just an evil, soulless killer. But instead, someone who has been hurt just as much as they were.
Just that moment, maybe Whumpee is confused by a normal concept, doesn't know what something is, because they've never had it. Maybe they say something about their own body, that's 'normal' (hint: it's not. It's really not).
("Do you need a painkiller?"
"A what?")
And they know Whumpee isn't trying to manipulate them. They're just... confused. This is normal to them.
And just... damn it.
What did they do to you?
in a world where horikoshi loves me and wrote my ideal ending, multiple families take in toga and she stays with the midoriyas for a couple of months because she feels safe with Inko (who always wanted a daughter) and Izuku is just fun to be around because he's super interested in her quirk (he may or may not offer his blood for research purposes even though he isn't allowed to since she's technically still a convicted a felon lmao) and he also donesn't judge her weirdness (freak 4 freak friendship....), idk i feel like these two could've had a great friendship, as i said yesterday, Deku and Bakugo have great chemistry with everyone so yeah, deku and toga are friends in MY mind palace <3
Living weapon PTSD
Content: punishment aftermath, scars
(stoic whumpee vibes)
Sees someone pick up a long thin object, immediately winces and takes a rigid, chin-up posture like a soldier in line
Or (if severely triggered) yanks off their shirt in one fluid motion, turns and faces the wall, bracing their hands against it for support
If they see a weapon they watch it, and whoever has it, like a hawk
Trying to figure out who's in charge no matter what situation they're in. Using a formal tone with them even if they're TRYING to just be normal
Tensing up around people that act/speak like whumper. They don't want to embarrass themselves by flinching every five seconds so they're just going to flex every muscle until they are gone.
Self aware of their stiff posture. Sitting down and forcing themselves to relax into a couch and put on a fake smile
Caretaker seeing their scars and covering their mouth.
In that event, whumpee flushing and covering them because they're still ashamed of "earning" the punishments that left those marks
Or if they're from combat, smiling and telling the story proudly because they made their owner proud that day and they weren't punished
Trying to explain what happened and then suddenly going quiet
Answering questions like they're being interrogated by a superior
Refusing to speak because they're flashing back to a time they were interrogated in an enemy compound
“Relax. You look gorgeous.”
“People are looking at us.” “Yeah, they’re jealous about my hot date.”
“May I have this dance?” “Only if you don’t mind me stepping all over your toes.” “It’ll be worth it.”
“You look…wow.”
“Sorry, I don't normally dress like this..." "Well, you should. You're stunning."
"I've never slow danced before." "That's okay. Just lean on me and follow my lead."
"You smell fantastic." "Thanks. I broke out the expensive perfume/cologne for the occasion. I was also kind of hoping you'd notice."
"When did you learn to dance like that?" "Oh, it's just something I picked up on over the years. Try to keep up."
"I feel stupid in this dress/tux." "You certainly don't look stupid." "What was that?" "Nothing."
"Why don't you dress like this more often? I could get used to this look."
"Here, take my jacket. You're freezing." "No, it's fine. It looks better on you, anyway." "Funny. I was going to say it looked better on you."
"It might just be the champagne hitting, but god I could kiss you right now."
"We're running late; can you zip this up for me?" "Actually, I'd rather unzip it. What's a few more minutes?"
"You're, by far, the hottest one at this stupid gala; and it's not even close."

Whumpee/Living Weapon who was trained for a lot of different purposes. They can fight, they can lie, they can interrogate and torture, they can charm just about anyway. They know exactly how to get information out of people. Giving up their body is just a simple part of that.
But every time they do so, they go on auto-pilot. They often do, during torture, during fights, during sex. They just check out, floating somewhere else while their body does what it needs to do.
Years later, they are free. And they are living a somewhat normal life, although they're still a bit stoic. But they're doing... okay. All things considered.
They get into a relationship, maybe with someone who knows what they were. And sex is part of that. It's not much of a question for Living Weapon. They like their partner, they want them, and they know their partner wants them, too. They know exactly what to do, what to say, how to move, how to act.
And every time they do so, they disassociate.
But they're good at it. At playing the part. So it takes a while for their partner to notice. But when they do, they instantly stop, pulling back, and trying to get Living Weapon back to them. "Hey," they say. "Come back, LW. What's going on?"
They slowly get them back to their body, making Living Weapon gasp as they're pulled back, not really understanding what's happening.
They talk about it, and their partner realizes with horror that Living Weapon has been doing this since the start. "This is how it always is. It's normal." They say. It's not, their partner wants to sob. It's really not.
Maybe Living Weapon leaves, or breaks down. Being hit with the realization that what they've been doing isn't normal. That they're broken. They knew it, they knew they were messed up and wrong and they've never been normal- but they never thought much about this, and now their partner knows and-
In the end, Living Weapon and their partner talk about it. Maybe they try something new, start slow, trying to keep Whumpee in the moment. Each time they start to float, their partner pulls them back. "Hey, stay with me, LW."
And for the first time, Living Weapon does. They're in the moment, they feel it.
They don't do much, yet Living Weapon still ends up overwhelmed, and they start crying. The touch, the positive, caring, loving touch, it breaks them. Their partner just holds them.
But it's not bad. They're healing. They're happy.
