important to me and me alone, but it's actually so sick and twisted that kris lemche was never in an episode of supernatural bc he would've been a perfect fit for the aesthetic and tone of the earlier seasons. like s1-5, he would've fit !!

No disrespect to all the other actors (I seriously love them all) but can we take a moment and appreciate Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard's acting skills?
I mean, let's just think about it.
60% of what Cas says is "Dean" in infinite inflections, the other 40% literally makes zero sense and it's totally unfunny if the lines are not delivered to perfection. Yet, Misha slays every effing time.
On the other hand, 60% of what Crowley says are sexual innuendos, the other 40% are pop culture references that I personally don't get half of the time (I'm not from the US). Yet, Mark eats and leaves no crumbs every effing time.
And they both have spent 8+ years in the same frigging costumes.
I mean, I'm just blown away, they literally carried the show on their shoulders and I'll appreciate them forever.
as much as i love rowena (which is, like, a lot, shes literally my lockscreen), i do not think we as a fandom engage with her character correctly. she was an abusive mother. end of sentence. full stop. is she trying to be better? yes. does she achieve that by the end of her arc? i believe so! but we need to talk about it!! we need to talk about the fact that she was a horrible mom! shes the john winchester of moms! and canon makes this perfectly clear, regularly!
she was, at the VERY LEAST, an emotionally abusive mother!! she raised crowley for 8 years and in that time destroyed crowleys self-esteem and trust and gave him abandonment issues that literally haunt him 400 years later. that's crazy!! how do you do that!!

the fbi was going through the craziest shit in the 90s like what the hell do you mean they needed to use an insanely dangerous cannibal for information to catch a serial killer who is murdering innocent families for his becoming of a god that is possessed by a dragon, then having to use him AGAIN to catch another serial killer who is murdering girls (including a senator’s daughter) to wear their skin as a suit while some other girl died under mysterious circumstances while other people are getting abducted by aliens and being terrorized by the paranormal while ALSO across the country, there’s a satanist who is possessing dolls and using a former nurse to kill more families???
