Plot twist: None of them did it
Take this silly little piece, i thought Hide and Sleek's instrumental sounded a bit like a danganronpa song so here we are
This is a little comic representing the ways of the World Warrior but its also reflective of MY Journey ever since I started spriting publicly. You have to allow yourself to grow and adopt many styles and things. You can't just stay in your circle. Some of those characters represent friends and people I made along the way.
I made this to celebrate 2000 followers on my twitter.
Yes, I made a few original sprites for this comic, but its more about what this comic meant to me more than showing off something. so thats why I'm posting it. Plus it was fun giving Ryu a little bit of personality than he usually gives in games (not to say he DOESN"T have any)
Actually they were bigger than I anticipated BUT MY CREATURE
ummmmm oops fuck sorry *DSes your splatoon*
Even as a zelink shipper whenever people refer to Link and Zelda as soulmates it makes me laugh, cause yeah you're not wrong they totally are but Ganondorf is also technically their soulmate in that regard? The poly shippers have gotten around that issue but for everyone else he's literally born to third wheel. No wonder he's pissed, not only does he never get to realize his ambitions he's gotta watch that awkward teenage romance over and over for eternity. It's like he keeps scrolling past his NOTP and the block button isn't working. Bottling the princess just pisses off the other one, and the other one has the invincibility of a Nokia cell phone. What's a born hater to do
Diversity wins! The horrors beyond your comprehension are queer!
Some people are under the impression that Batman is pro-police, but that is literally so inaccurate. Batman is for police reform and accountability, and he will personally do it himself if he has to. He is anti-gun and believes a police officer should never shoot unless absolutely necessary. He wouldn't have become Batman if he thought the police were competent. He only works with Jim Gordon, because he thinks most of the police are incompetent. He would and has fist fought with dirty cops. He thinks that getting rid of corrupt cops (and politicians) is an important part of making Gotham a better place. He prefers giving petty criminals jobs and social resources rather than having them arrested.
He is not just for police reform but also prison reform, because he believes the point of prisons should be about rehabilitating inmates. He believes that no one is beyond rehabilitation. That is borderline one of his character flaws. He hires former inmates so they can make a living without turning back to crime. He even has a halfway house that former convicts can stay in until they get figuratively back on their feet. He prefers eradicating crime by addressing the root cause, which is often poverty and a lack of social resources.
AND ANOTHER THING- There's this idea that Gotham is a shithole because Bruce isn't doing enough with his wealth, but that doesn't take into account that he is nowhere near the only billionaire in Gotham. He's up against the Court of Owl elites, and a lot of them are board members for Wayne Enterprises and have a say in what the company can and can not do. The Court of Owls plays a heavy roll in politics and most politicians are puppets of the Court and mobs. Politicians that aren't corrupt get killed by the bad guys for refusing to obey. Look at what happened to Harvey Dent. Look at how much money he has funneled into Arkham to no avail. Bruce can not own and control every aspect of every major business in Gotham. No person should have a monopoly on an entire city.
If Nintendo ever makes Splatoon 4 then Orange, Azure, and Purple are really the only colours that the fourth idol team can use
If they go for a fifth game or more then they're either gonna be achromatic or Nintendo is gonna have to start inventing colours
sly cooper final boss clockwerk
youtube comments
I just realized that the Clockwerk is a metaphor. When you are always fueled by jealousy and hatred, especially for someone, you become a shell of your former self. Clockwerk's metal body represents the hollowness of what he once was. And that it can literally last forever.
It made me cry in sly 2 when they talked about the hate chip. Idk why it makes me cry but it’s just so incredible that someone could be fueled by that much hatred that it keeps them going no matter what. It reminds me of Dracula in the Castlevania games. He kept coming back game after game and then in one the later games you can fight his soul which is supposedly the reason he’s able to keep coming back from the dead. His soul is filled by hatred for humanity. One of the major shocks about Clockwerk is that he demonstrates how hatred can be far more powerful and enduring than love, but also the havock it ultimately reaps upon itself in the end. Those who embrace pride, greed, and hate will always have more power, but they will always underestimate how the simplicity of humility, hope, and love will cause their own schemes to backfire on themselves. Hatred is easy, but love is hard work, and that's the main difference between Clockwerk and Sly, and what makes Clockwerk so pitiful in the end. He created his own worst enemy, and even then that person didn't even consider Clockwerk to be as important as Sly was to him.
Not only is it hollow, but it’s consumed his identity. What do we know about Clockwerk’s former life, aside from his hatred of the Cooper family and desire to live as long as it took to end them?
How does a giant mechanical owl become a thief? I mean, Ridley being a space pirate I can buy. Pirating’s easy when you’re the size of a ship. But thieving? What, does Clockwerk just swoop in and steal whatever he wants? There’s nothing “masterful” about that!
i mean owls are known to fly practically silently, so being silent and hard to detect could be the thief inspiration Yeah, Clockwerk would've been better off as someone trying to take over the world, it actually suits him better then a master thief
I also agree why be a master thief when he can just take over the world as ruler instead.
Anybody here ever hear the saying "you can't always get what you want" Clockwerk is what you get when you can't accept that. He really wanted to be a good thief The coopers were just better
not to be a hater but it does drive me insane how so many online conversations are so centered around sidon and yona (and link 😞) and not any of the delicious narratives that totk gave us
like why should we talk about rauru and sonia and their relationship w zelda? why would we talk about zelda and how her relationship w link progressed post calamity? oh are we gonna talk about the sheer insanity that is ZELDA TURNIJG INTOA. FUCKING DRAGON??? no??? shipping discourse over sharks? ok
not to swing a bat at a hornet's nest but it really does feel like specifically mlm ships take precedence in fandom spaces over EVERYTHING else regardless of whether the ship in question actually has like. any canon backing whatsoever. like totk specifically, a ton of the story revolves around zelda, a female character which certain fans notoriously hate for the crime of. being a woman with feelings. like gee i wonder why we all simultaneously decided to ignore the story of this one. i wonder why we really really really want to focus on this random male side character's incredibly minor story instead of the literal titular character of the game. could it perhaps be because some of us are predisposed to ignore and dismiss women in all contexts. could it be perhaps that we don't want to reckon with a woman we didn't like in the last game reclaiming her agency and healing from her trauma and being a positive driving force in the narrative and would rather talk about 2 men and how lame and stupid the woman who dares to exist inbetween them is instead. hmm
