No bc this is Noah and Claudia’s song actually. All I see is these two whenever I hear it, like Stiles probably popped this bad boy on one day around his dad and he flashes back to him and Claudia slow dancing terribly in the living room to old country songs that sound like this.

They pop on their favourite Johnny Cash album and twirl around the living room, Claudia unable to stop giggling in between singing in an exaggerated southern accent. Her and little Stiles always belting out the lyrics of the music Noah grew up listening to but never truly hearing the words until his wife and son sang them.

Those songs they danced to were some of the only things Claudia consistently remembered when her memory faded. And now he sits back and smiles, listening to ‘Wondering Why’ after being unable to listen to certain songs/artists anymore bc the pain is too much - and he remembers those warm feelings, and dusts off those old records.

I’m actually so unwell about it.

The irony in that the primary idea was to focus on the arms and give stiles a tattoo but i couldn't get it to work with the limited colorpalette - altered closeup with the tattoo included under the cut! [find my stuff on Redbubble!]

Used mare.blk's tattoo style because if hand tattoos weren't a no-go in my chosen profession, I would get one by them done in a heartbeat. So stiles gets one instead lol Also used a 3D program to figure out the pose and angles - the canon height difference is there but bc derek's leaning it looks like stiles is taller which i'm not mad about I'll get around to drawing more derek initiating things soon, apparently i have a lot of stiles taking action to get out of my system ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

why has no one (from what ive seen) done a 'stiles gets bitten first' fic that actually takes plot points and conflicts from 3B where canon stiles is going through a supernatural transformation? like if he got bit instead of scott he wouldn't know about werewolves yet and would probably interpret the changes in his senses as hallucinations, sleepwalking used to be an issue for him, and increased aggresion could be any number of neuro problems like it all fits perfectly for him to think he may be dying but no one uses it
