It took so goddamn long for me to be diagnosed with ADHD because I'm a "good student" who "stays engaged" and "understands the material" and has straight As and I was sitting there drawing penguins instead of taking notes, spacing out during class, asking my friends what just happened ten seconds ago, unable to focus in silence, bullshitting my way through everything

i love how neurotypical people try to gatekeep mental illnesses and say things like “oh you don’t have ADHD, you just have a lot of energy”, “you’re not depressed, you just need to go outside and hang out with your friends more”, and my absolute favourite, “it’s all in your head” well yeah last time I checked that’s where my brain is

Now he's stuck in this lie and too awkward to admit his memory is fine

I feel like Roman asking for Thomas's permission to start daydream mode means he needs Thomas to start it, and Thomas hasn't ever given Remus that ability explicitly that we've seen (he did give Remus permission to explain himself for Forbidden Fruit so that could be Remus's 'daydream mode,' or it could be that he had so much creative control because he incapacitated Roman)

Also if before DWIT was Remus's 'daydream mode' I feel like that wouldn't make sense because that was an intrusive thought/dream and Thomas did the exact opposite of giving him permission to do that y'know, sometimes intrusive thoughts that bad just happen and it sucks

Patton: Agreed to go on a long hike with his friends when he's never been able to before (and was out of breath by the top of the first hill and had to be carried by Remus)

Logan: Realized wayyy too late that Remus (his best friend and previous roommate) and Roman (his friend and current roommate) were brothers

Virgil: Met Roman and in less than a minute, in his second sentence spoken to him, called him out for self-harming
