“we don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. we read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. and the human race is filled with passion. and medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. but poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.”

Reindeer herding is part of a long family tradition, passed down from generation to generation. “You always learn from older people, the reindeers themselves, the nature and by your own experience,” says 34-year-old Johan Oskal of Tromsø Arctic Reindeer (@tromsoarcticreindeer).
Johan and his family are part of the Sami people, an indigenous group that have lived in Arctic Europe since prehistoric times. Just like their ancestors, his family continues to herd thousands of reindeer every year, but they also host adventures in Norway, so people can experience what life is like for the reindeer and the Sami.
Johan’s favorite parts of his profession are the freedom of his days and working with nature. “I love to be out there with the reindeer, and when I see that the animals are good and safe, it warms my heart,” he says. “Come and visit my family, and we’ll tell you more.”
INTP
“I’m sorry I suck at comforting you.” *Pats my back awkwardly*
“It’s okay to cry. It’s okay.” *Smiles awkwardly*
“Everyone in here is being lovey-dovey. It is disgusting.”
“People who touch me creep me out.”
“Stop singing that song. It just sounds so bad.”
“I’m sorry…I was spacing out again.”
“Why was I spacing out? Hmm, I saw a lizard and I couldn’t help but look at it.”
INTJ
“Stop being too pushy. I need my quality alone time. Okay?”
“I ghost everyone. It’s just the way I am.”
“Still, I love you, okay?”
“You know what? You should stop worrying about people who don’t worry about themselves.”
“Common sense, man, common sense!”
“I solve my problems by myself.”
“That’s why you shouldn’t worry about me.”
ISTJ
“You know what? You can’t just whine about your problems. You have to do something about them.”
“I don’t understand why she is ranting to me about her problems. She has better people to run to for that.”
*Encounters emotional problems* “Awkward…”
“This is the most efficient way of doing things.”
“That is so inaccurate.”
“I don’t get your joke man.”
“You missed a spot!”
INFP
“You will never know the real me.”
“My feelings run deeper than anyone will know.”
“Nobody understands me!”
“This is so shallow…I’m done with this.”
“My mind wanders a lot, I guess.”
“It is important to be open-minded.”
“I can’t decide!”
INFJ
“Yaaaay another INFJ!”
“Who else do you think are INFJ in this place?”
“I knew that it was going to end up this way.”
“Shit I’m psychic!”
“So apparently I am an extroverted introvert.”
“People keep saying I claim to be INFJ because it is rare and it makes me feel special. Ha, I wish I was ENTJ or something. They are much more efficient.”
“At the same time, I keep questioning if all the INFJs in the Internet are real or just trolling. I mean, they are so hard to find IRL.”
ISFP
“So pretty! Gotta take a pic of it.”
“I really like the aesthetics of this.”
“I’m sorry. I don’t read between the lines as much as you do.”
“Let it be.”
“It’s okay.” *Pats my back gently and listens to me rant for the next 1234567890 hours*
“I saw your crush today.” *Calm af but it is obvious af that she is teasing*
“I hate change. It’s like going out of my comfort zone.”
ISFJ
“Hey, you missed a little detail here.”
“Are you all right?”
“Here, I’ll give you a hug.”
“You know what? You’re pretty.”
“I don’t do political debates unless absolutely necessary. It just creates unneeded tension.”
“Ah, I really have to improve on my style.”
“I don’t want to repeat the same mistake twice.”
ENFP
“I refuse to take sides.”
“You should look at it from multiple perspectives.”
“You are asking me what I think is going to happen? Oh, I don’t want to think about it. Don’t try me.”
“…because if I do, I will have a billion scenarios in my head.”
“You are making me pick? I don’t know what to pick!”
“What do you mean I’m extroverted? I am introverted AF.”
“Hobbies? Oh, wait I have several of them.” *Proceeds to name 100 of them*
ENFJ
“Stop focusing on the details and start focusing on the big picture!”
“Stop being so technical!”
“I’m sorry that I forgot all those details you told me about.”
“You can’t force people to love you. You just have to make yourself lovable.”
“People are the greatest investments you can make in life.”
“You have to come out of your shell.”
“Whether you like it or not, you have to try to fit in society.”
ESFP
“Carpe diem.”
“Just go with the flow.”
“Stop overthinking.”
“Just follow your heart.”
“Weird is good.”
“Why are you not socializing with the others?”
“I would rather you be brutally honest with me than you be dishonest with me for the sake of being nice.”

An ash I know there stands, Yggdrasill is its name, a tall tree, showered with shining loam. From there come the dews that drop in the valleys. It stands forever green over Urðr’s well.
