Genuine question: how did Thrawn and Ezra part ways once they got to the new galaxy?

Did they shake hands and agree to go separate ways?

Did Ezra escape and Thrawn was just like… ok 🤷‍♂️

Or did Thrawn pass out mid flight which enabled Ezra to escape unnoticed?

I rewatched Rebels finale for the first time since last year and I'm so taken aback by Ezra's power. He is so sure as to what he has to do. While he told the others that there might be different ways this could end, Ezra knew. He knew exactly how this was gonna end. Ezra was most powerful, most connected to the Force, when he was dedicated to the survival of the people around him.

Jedi cannot help what they are. Their compassion leaves a trail indeed.
