I finished season two of Interview with the vampire, OMFG
first of all, I loved watching Louis get revenge on the coven. I didn't like the coven when they were introduced I had a bad feeling and I was right. I also loved Louis's little message at the end there, the ego lowk fits him for someone who started out so self loathing.
Second of all that poor girl Claudia HAD NO CHANCE OMFG. The second she gets a chance ARMAND HAPPENS. Claudia is done so dirty over and over and over again by all the people in her life. It's like watching adults consistently fail the child they were meant to care about over and over again. Then the second the child gains autonomy to make their life better, adults swoop in and fuck it up. I could go on about Claudia. Even after what the motherfucker did to her she still had hope that she'd find some decent vampires in Europe. She never once had the thought to turn a young person like her into a vampire because the girl wasn't selfish and reckless. AND LOUIS, my guy was so FUCKING desperate for external validation he kept abandoning the one person who never left his side.
DANIEL MOLLOY YOU SNEAKY MOTHERFUCKERRR. I can't believe he shacked up with Armand after spending like two weeks breaking apart Louis and Armands relationship it's actually iconic of him.
THE FACT THAT LESTAT SPENT 77 YEARS IN NEW ORLEANS, WAITING FOR LOUIS OMFG
In closing
I need season 3 like now
been a Drake hater SINCE i was a child that wannabe never sat right with my soul.
He's holding that lady hostage someone help her
I just realised that some people don't know that silco isn't actually there in the scene where jinx is in jail and having that epiphany. It's also not silco speaking to Jinx it is her own subconscious. It's just taken the form of someone else speaking to her. And I don't think that was a hallucination either I genuinely think jinx imagined silco speaking to her in that moment to make sense of what was going on and to bring her comfort.
Edit:added smth I forgot I wanted to say
It's important to me that people realise jinx is emotionally intelligent enough to come to that conclusion on her own. Yes she has lost it but she's still an intelligent person.
why am I so correct when drunk
Jjk characters as Christmas movies/ Christmas movie characters. (this may be off I may have been drinking a little it's festive.)
Gojo would be the brother Ben from The Family Stone.
Yuji would be Kevin from home alone or Elf (I LOVE ELF GUYS)
mahito and kenjaku would be the robbers from home alone (that one juju stroll wirh jogos head is inspiring this)
Geto is Meredith from The Family Stone. (watch the movie and you'll see why)
Megumi would be scrooge mcduck from the animated Disney one (not animated Mickey mouse Disney one)
Nobara would be barabje from the barbie retelling of scrooge bc she's cunt and nobara is cunt
Yuta would be the Santa Clause bc I DONT LIKE HIM AND I DONT LIKE THAT MOVIE
Uhhh Inumaki would be a 1920s silent christmas film (im. funny laugh)
Nanami would be the Die hard guy Bruce Willis
that's all I can think of MERRU CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS
The second reason why Sabra does not work as a character in a marvel film. (Besides the obvious that she's Israeli propaganda) is that she's visually aligned with protecting a nation. Any hero in Marvel has always been known to protect the world and galaxy and universe and multiverse as a whole. The heroes of the Marvel cinematic universe always strive to protect everyone no matter their nationality, race, gender, sexuality etc. That's the whole point of being a hero.
Sabra contradicts that. She's a hero aligned with a specific nation who will save everyone but a minority. As far as I'm aware she's presented as an antagonist for the Hulk. She makes no fucking sense whatsoever.
(Im using the broad definition of hero here so don't come at me)
Also, if you're deadset on watching brave new world. PIRATE IT.
Arcane act 3 spoilers
Okay no one talks about this but canonically Noxus aka Mel's place of origin does not accept mages. If I remember correctly they view magic as unfair because their belief is anyone can be a leader if you have the strength and courage to do it. But magic gives people an unfair advantage. And what is Mel? A mage
Mel the daughter of a Noxian general (im assuming). Mel who has struggled with her identity as her Medarda her entire life and I think subconsciously her magic has affected that. Mel who is returning to Noxus (from the looks of the ending of arcane)
I'm curious to see how the writers will handle Mel being a mage if noxus is the next place the writers will focus on.
sidenote If noxus is the place they focus on MEL BETTER BE IN IT I SWEAR TO GOD WE BETTER SEE MEL. AND I hope we get a glimpse of Ionia bc Noxus has been the only place we've heard anything about.
She's like on par with Ah Dou for me omfg
BEAUTIFUL BUTCH WOMAN
Anyone else remember that book series about the ginger twins whose father passes away. Then their grandma comes and there's a book and they're transported to the world of fairy tales and it ends up with the girl twin being a magical girl and the boy twin becoming a writer and she ends up with a sickness I think? And there's like political turmoil in the fairy land and the girl twin in the last book is corrupted or smth. And the whole series is lowk sad like I rlly felt for the evil queen mirror lady. I need the name I wna reread bc that shit was WILDDD. It wasn't young adult I think it was for 11-13 Yr olds or maybe that is YA idk.
Jinmao is the definition of the unbothered king and her indefinitely bothered queen

"Vi is to blame for everything, in the other universe we see Jinx is happy. Jinx wouldn't have sacrificed herself if Vi had just hurried up and left Vander"
Yall didn't watch the damn show and we can see that. If you genuinely believe that you are like those idiots who say books aren't political and switch your mind off when reading. NOT EVERYTHING IS SURFACE LEVEL. SOMETIMES THE CURTAIN IS FUCKING BLUE BECAUSE THE AUTHOR WANTED TO CONVEY THAT THE CHARACTER IS CALM OR SAD OR WTV.
The whole entire reason we are shown Vi happy with caitlyn in our arcane universe. And Vi dead in the other with Powder happy. IS A SIMILAR REASON WHY THEY SHOW US MEL FIGHTING HER MOTHER. Sometimes, sometimes you can love someone with your entire heart, sometimes someone can be your whole entire fucking world and yet they do things that hurt you and you do things that hurt them. Unfortunately the only way you two can be happy simultaneously is being seperate. You guys have complicated relationships with family maybe your mother or father I'm sure USE THAT KNOWLEDGE AND MAYBE THINK oh hey it's a similar situation for these two sisters. VI WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON HER SISTER. JINX HAD TO WALK AWAY. ITS NOT VIS FAULT THEY WOULDN'T BE HAPPY TOGETHER ITS THE SAD TRUTH. It's similar to jayce and Viktor. They were unhappy apart.
ALSO ever think that maybe Vi didn't leave Vander right there and then IS BECAUSE SHE WAS RELIVING THE EXPLOSION AND WATCHING VANDER DIE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER AT 14? I mean it's obvious too we literally see her having flashbacks. That man raised her of course she will have trouble leaving him.
Please stop blaming Vi for shit that you can't understand because you only pay attention to the top of the iceberg and not the rest of the iceberg below the depths.
SPOILERS FOR ACT 3
the parallels between powder and jinx really kill me
In every universe she carries her sister with her. For example in the alternate reality she literally has a pink streak in her hair. When she put on make up it was blue and pink and purple (her mother had purple hair too im gna sob) her nails are entirely pink (I couldn’t get a screenshot of it.) she lives the “I’m always with you even if we’re worlds apart)
In the reality we know she also always carries her sister with her. I saw a TikTok analysing their hair and tldr they said it’s likely jinx hasn’t cut her hair since her and vi split apart. And she paints her nails both pink and blue which are their respective colours. Even if she stayed powder her mindset towards family is still the same and it kills me I can’t put it into better words omg.
