since you have a very simplified art style I couldn't do anything realistic, hope that's ok! this was fun to do though as I don't usually draw really cartoony things

still went with my usual super rendered shading lol rendering is my favourite part of the art process I just can't NOT do it

my SUPER old OCs (gonna be drawing as many of them as I can this week) these are from when I was around 9 or so (if you can't tell lol) my plan is to include every old OC and plotline I have ever made into my current comic, so... we're gonna have to figure out how to incorporate these ppl lol

these take like half an hour each and i usually have a minimal sketch plus just draw it in one go so it's not as clean or perfect I'm just trying to aim for quantity because my main focus is really just design and drawing them in my current art style

puma guy reference for my artfight i gotta draw more of these but they're kinda a pain but they help me figure out stuff about the character!! lock in their proportions and stuff so I draw them consistently and know what I'm doing

i hate drawing symmetry i mean im not aiming for it to be perfectly symmetrical cuz that's creepy af and unnatural and some elements of his design are purposefully asymmetrical (barely noticeable but his eyebrows for example I hate how I put small details no one will ever even see or think about)

but this took so long to correct i was constantly flipping my canvas… now I'm thinking about how I'll have to do like 9 more of these and probably have to redo them by july cuz I'll have improved and will hate my old art

crossing my fingers that i can just do small edits or liquify by the time artfight happens I don't wanna have to redo everything
