Would literally slam into the door because he heard you laughing from across the room and lost his focus

One time he even bumped into Levi, he still swears it hurt more than any brick wall he walked into.

Eren knows about his crush since day one.

He noticed it because Armin stopped mid-rant about something he loves when you walked by, Armin never stops talking about his passions.

Mikasa caught on it a bit late because she doesn't really pay attention to other people beside Eren and Armin.

She only noticed it when Armin was throwing away his fifth confession letter for the week.

She thought the previous letters were just English homework or something.

Talking about letters, Armin writes you one everyday. Describing how you made him feel that day and how much seeing you smile in his direction made his heart explode into a supernova.

The next day, him and Mikasa just hover around the place you're in while he hypes himself up to give it to you.

It never works, he either ends up throwing it away because he doubts himself too much or just take it home to stash it with the other letters he couldn't throw away.

Eren is the most agressive motivational man ever, it backfires and makes Armin even more doubtful of himself.

Mikasa tried to be a wing women for him but her attempts either sound like a threat or like she's the one hitting on you.

If you give even the tinest of smiles or the most basic of politness to her "attempts" Armin will literally cry.

He thinks he can never compete with Mikasa.

He also buys small things that subtly remind him of you, it his secret and it's subtle enough that no one can tell.

Like a brooch of your favourite flower or wearing socks in your favourite colour.

He'd even listen to the music you like even if it isn't his type.

He is a sucker for love songs and when alone he sings them sometimes in hushed tones while thinking about you.

He set your text conversation to have different notification tone than the rest so he can know when you text him.

He hugs his pillow sometimes and thinks if this is how it would feel like to cuddle you against his chest.

Then he blushes and scolds himself for being "creepy"

It's not, it's adorable actually.

If you're hanging out together, he'd ask your opinions on whatever subject comes up. He'd also get you a snack if you pass a corner store together.

Really really really wants to hold your hands, please let him hold your hands.

Sometimes he tries to find excuses to do it, like helping you cross the road or guiding you somewhere. But not letting your hand go after.

Subtly inserts characteristics about him into questions to see if he's your type.

Like asking how you feel about not physically strong guys when a similar subject comes up.

His insecurities eat him up at night sometimes, so please reassure him that he's perfect the way he is.

Lowkey compares himself to whatever person you show interest in.

Being selectively mute and relying on his safer words doesn't mean he's at a loss for ways to communicate. His hand writing is surprisingly impeccable, but writing takes so long.
