you met toji during a quidditch match between Slytherin and Hufflepuff, where you were supporting your Hogwart's house, Hufflepuff.

ryomen sukuna a pureblood Slythering, was raised to believe that only purebloods were true wizards. rumors at hogwarts claimed he was a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin and practiced dark arts, which led others to avoid him. as a result, he often spent time in the Forbidden Forest or the library.

you met him in the Forbidden Forest, where he was practicing dark arts while you were there on a dare from friends to stay for at least 15 minutes. to his surprise, instead of running away when you saw gim casting the Cruciatus Curse on an acromantula, you sat on a rock and watched him calmly.

as you both began attending Quidditch matches together, discussing strategies and player performances, you both started to get close. even yuji noticed this closeness, leaving you two more time alone. he was already thinking how cool it would be to have megumi as his brother-in-law.

megumi regularly attended your practices, using the excuse of wanting to help you improve, claiming it wouldnt be fun to easily crush your team. you answered him telling him he didn't have the right of saying that since he still lose to your tactics.

relationship getting that serious he invited all your family to spend Christmas with his family in his house. you agreed, without knowing how it was even possible to get all your family in his house, until you arrived in his house. that wasn't a house, that was a mansion. if you were taken aback you almost got a heart attack when you realized megumi's father was the most famous beater. megumi confessed he didn't like to brag out his father, hence he got his mom's surname, to avoid attracting the wrong people

megumi asked for your hand the day after the Quidditch champion, which your team won. he decided to do it in your house, a private place. in that way, the news would be known when both of you were ready and to not overshadow your win

yuta okkutso, a Hufflepuff half-bloof, requested to be placed in that house during sorting, wanting to honor his mother's legacy. since the sorting hat was indecesive, and the Hatstall happened, the sorting hat decided to respect yuta's will.

one day, he wasn't ready to find an unknown cat in the prefect's toilet. how did a cat sneak there? yuta decided to follow the cat. he discovered a wand in one of the toilets, took it with a tissue and cleand it. once it was clean, he turned around expecting to see the cat. however, he saw you in your human form, with a mischievous smile. you thanked him for retrieving your wand and left wondering how it ended up there.

later that day, yuta spotted you again in your cat form, wandering the corridorss. he followed you to the girls' bathroom but, respecting your privacy, waited outside. when you didn't come aout and he had class soon, he left. for the rest of the week, yuta would always followed you to try to talk to you. however you were so much in your world, you didn't realize that.

after nine days, you finally appeared in your human form in front of him. you presented yourself, you were from ravenclaw and were an unregistered animagus. you also apologized him for not repairing he was looking for you. he got embarrased and told you it was nothing.

Ahhh, student!Satoru, who's leaning into the palm of his hand, mouth concealed behind his pale hand, eyes stuck on you. And they've been stuck on you ever since he saw you first walk up the steps into Jujutsu Tech. Bright blue. Heart quivering. Fixed gaze.

He takes any excuse to be near you, even though he knows that you're annoyed by him — he's so cocky and full of himself. But don't you see that he's also just a lovesick boy? Look at the way he follows after you down the halls, long striding legs effortlessly meeting your quick pace.

So eagerly looking at your lips, Satoru pulls out lip balm and makes eye contact with you while applying it. He's always got chapped lips, he knows because someone made exactly 1 comment about it and now he's never forgotten to put a lip balm in his pocket.

In my L1-acquisition class two weeks ago, our professor talked about how only 9% of the speech a baby hears is single words. Everything else is phrases and sentences, onslaughts of words and meaning!

Thus, a baby not only has to learn words and their meanings but also learn to segment lots of sounds INTO words. Doyouwantalittlemoresoupyesyoudoyoucutie. Damn.

When she talked about HOW babies learn to segment words our professor said, and I love it, "babies are little statisticians" because when listening to all the sounds, they start understanding what sound is likely to come after another vs which is not.

After discussing lots of experiments done with babies, our professor added something that I already knew somewhere in my brain but didn't know I know: All this knowledge is helpful when learning an L2 as well:

Listen to natives speaking their language. Original speed. Whatever speaker. Whatever topic.

It is NOT about understanding meaning. It is about learning the rhythm of the language, getting a feeling for its sound, the combination of sounds, the melody and the pronunciation.

Just how babies have to learn to identify single words within waves of sounds, so do adults learning a language. It will help immensely with later (more intentional) listening because you're already used to the sound, can already get into the groove of the languge.

Be as brave as a baby.

You don't even have to pay special attention. Just bathe in the sound of your target language. You'll soak it up without even noticing.

But you help her out and take a lot of her work load off her hands just by being there

She’s so stressed all the time so when she gets to the meetings and find out you already did the thing she was worried about not having time to do??

You have interesting ideas and can be useful to the council, but other than that he doesn’t really pay much mind to you

What little arguments AruAni would have? Like, would they "fight" of Annie's choice of sweets because it's TOO sugary or Annie would playfully roll her eyes every time Armin would bring new books, and their shelves literally*breaking*

These are SUCH cool ideas Anna!!! So lovely! I'm gonna expand on them:

Armin uses all his savings on books that phisically don’t fit on his shelves anymore. Maybe at some point he gives up on trying to put them on shelves and just piles them up around the house. Annie keeps tripping over them and he keeps promising to put them away, but he ultimately never does, he just brings home more and more books, one or two every day, and, as you said, she playfully rolls her eyes and shakes her head at his shenanigans. Until one day, they’re runming late to one of Historia's dinners and Annie’s rushing through the house because where are her damn earrings and– she trips over a pile of books and falls flat on her face. Needless to say, they don’t make it in time for the dinner. The next day, Armin packs all his books into boxes and puts them away in the basement, and stops bringing any new ones home. He can’t bring himself to look at her for the next week because he feels guilty for what happened, which I think would drive Annie insane. So at the end of that week, as soon as he walks through the door, Annie grabs both of his hands and drags him to the basement– which looks nothing like the basement he had put his books in. No, it’s barely a basement anymore– it’s a library. With shelves going all the way to the ceiling and a rolling stairwell thingy so he can reach the top shelves, a comfy couch on the side and a working desk in the centre of the room. Armin freezes for a moment, tears pooling in his eyes as he take sit all in– she built him a library. A library of his own. It’s the most loved he's ever felt, and it's overwhelming in the best of ways.

After he doesn’t say anything for an excruciating amount of time, Annie squeezes his hand to bring him back to her. "I haven’t put all the books in yet, I figured–" but he cuts her off and kisses her, once, twice, and three times, reducing her to a blushy laughing mess. And then they put all the books on and try out the couch

BUT I AM DIGRESSING!!!

I think Armin scolding Annie for her sugar intake would only result in her learning how to bake. Except she doesn’t bake at normal times, no. She bakes when she's stressed. She bakes in the middle of the night. She bakes before important meetings. And of course, Armin usually joins her in the kitchen, because he's also stressed and nervous about that meeting and he sometimes can’t sleep alone at night. He teases her endlessly at first, ending up with a cinnamon roll stuffed in his mouth to shut him up.

When they first moved in together, they argued over the color of the walls– Annie wanted a classic white in all rooms, while Armin wanted each room to be a different color (they eventually ended up compromising and having one colored wall in each room).

Maybe Armin likes sleeping with the window open, because it helps him breathe better, but Annie gets cold easily, so they end up having some silly arguments about that too. Armin eventually gets Annie two more blankets and she stops complaining about the cold.

But, I think that, more often than not, Annie fights Armin because he keeps overworking himself. Most days, she has to physically drag him to bed. Other days, he’s so exhausted that he ends up breaking down mid-argument, so Annie stops fighting and just holds him.
