Ahh, yes, I had forgotten that the only case of falsified evidence that we ever find out about Edgeworth having used was evidence that was handed to him by Lana during the SL-9 case. Nothing ever comes of it other than rumors about it for Edgeworth, at least in the fact as he didn't have any issues continuing being a prosecutor other then his own moral issues and choosing "death". But he didn’t lose his badge over it. Hell he does lose his badge willingly because he wanted the truth diring the course of Prosecutor's Gambit, but that wasn’t because of falsified evidence but more because he wouldn't go with the flow of corruption.

Mirror that with Phoenix, who also used falsified evidence that he thought was real. He immediately loses his badge and can't prove his innocence for seven years.

That was definitely done to show the level of corruption inuniverse. As Rise from the Ashes was the latest case done before Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney came out. Yeah, the rest of the main series got re-released before Apollo Justice came out, but only Rise from the Ashes was added to the first three games.

Also, in my mind, it's Edgeworth who is helping behind the scenes in Apollo Justice with Phoenix getting to do what he does, especially with the Mason System. And for sure, helped Phoenix get his badge back. Especially because both of them did the same thing, but they for sure didn't get the same punishment.

I like to imagine serizawa is still a socially inept weirdo for like a good year working into S&S….

I see everyone talk about the silly Klapollo/Gavinners interactions but what about the angsty ones, where because Apollo is dating Klavier (a celebrity) he's constantly under the same microscope Klavier’s under by Gavinners fans?

What about the interactions where someone on whatever Ace Attorney's version of Twitter is says something like "I don't get why Klavier would date the most average defense attorney ever, he could have literally anyone"?

What about Klavier, Phoenix, and/or Trucy having to restrict Apollo's access to social media because some of the shit Gavinners fans say about his relationship with Klavier get to him so bad?

I personally think it'd be "Klavier could have literally anyone he wanted" comments that would get to Apollo the most. Klavier could have anyone he wanted, and he chose Apollo, and seeing people bring it up as a "Klavier Gavin deserves better" type argument would kill Apollo. The only thing preventing him from a full-on breakdown is how defensive Klavier gets of him.

Like obviously there are Klapollo shippers in the Gavinners fandom, and I don't think either of them mind that. But statistically speaking, with how popular the Gavinners are, there are, almost guaranteed, people who would hate it if Klavier and Apollo started dating, whether because they think Klavier could do better or because they ship Klavier and Daryan or something.
