I love hype for books because there’s no trailers, no pictures on grocery store products or brand tie-ins. Just a bunch of people saying things like, “This book DESTROYED me,” “I couldn’t sleep until I finished it,” “this book ensnared my soul with occult enchantments of ink and paper,” “I felt like a hollow shell of tears when I closed it for the last time.”

And more and more people go “Yes, yes, this sounds like exactly what I want.”

Reasons to see Power Rangers

- D I V E R S I T Y - Everyone in the film would die for Billy and honestly same - No romance! NO ROMANCE! NO FORCED ROMANCE! - backHANDED INTO THE STRATOSPHERE - Actually having a motivated villain with a clear goal - Awesome training montage - They actually put the Go Go Power Rangers theme in and tears were shed - DINO ZORDS - Alpha was not annoying - Stellar fight scenes - The after credits scene getting my hopes up - Basically go see it is what I’m trying to say

i painted something and worked on my chem lab while drinking tea with my brother because i wanted to experience this aesthetic. imagine that.

Remember, YOUR actions as fans also represent BTS. Be kind to one another (Yes, ALL fandoms). I’m sure you don’t want them to be remembered by people in the U.S. as the “group with crazy, rude fans”, right? Of course you don’t. Be nice.

With BTS here in the States attending the BBMAs, not only are they representing themselves, but they are basically representing the music scene back in their home country, which is a lot of pressure. So to those other kpop fans who find joy in hating on other groups…FYI, this relates to you as well. Not only will the negative comments effect them, it will also do the same to your favorite groups. You don’t want your favorite groups to be stereotyped and to be known as the ones with rude fans, right? Of course not.

Be nice to one another (To ALL artists and their fans) and let’s have people remember them for the positives.

i’m really counting on tumblr not to sleep on cloak & dagger. i’m super hopeful about this show. 

a healthy interracial romantic relationship between two superheroes, crime fighting, defying stereotypes and addressing real major issues in society for women and the black community? sign me the fuck up. 

there are a lot of hateful and racist comments about the casting and interracial couples on the youtube trailer from trolls who are obviously not familiar with the comics, and i’d really like to see this show be commercially successful because of the beautiful story (and a fuck you to the internet trolls as a bonus).

i will literally marry you on spot if you were to ever give me a book of annotated poetry with all your thoughts messily scrawled in the margins. highlighted lines of poetry that remind you of me, and a note on the first page stating how you wish i were to enjoy the book just as much as you had, as a gift. not kidding.
