A Redraw Of A Drawing I Made A Few Years Back, The Og Drawing Is Up With The Redraw On My Ig!

For some reason elderly people keep approaching me witch random questions, and I have no idea why. So here is a list with some of my encounters that I will be adding onto as more happen

(For reference I am very visibly a lesbian with short hair, I usually wear all black or at least dark clothes, I have snakebites and a septum and usually am wearing large noice cancelling headphones)

- An old lady in the middle of a mall, with a BUNCH of people around, came up to me, ehile I was walking kinda rushed with my headphones on to get to work on time, to ask me about where another store was (I have no sense of direction and am the absolute worst person to ask)

-I was eating lunch outside in town with a friend, when an elderly man came up to us and just really wanted to chat about Cissi Klein and WW2

-I was at the store picking up a sixpack of iced coffee when a slightly older woman asked me to give her an introduction to the different kinds of iced coffee, cause she had a grandchild that was coming to visit who she knew really liked iced coffee

-I was headed for the bus after school, and the road was icy, an an old woman asked me to help her cross the road (never been this scared in my life, cause I was absolutely not confident in my own body to not slip on the ice, and just imagined taking down this frail old lady, but thankfully it turned out okay)

-An old lady at the bus stop last summer who just really wanted a chat. Not about anything in particular, just the weather etc. She actually was really nice, so I took a later bus than planned to just talk to her a bit

Now, I don't mind these interactions, but often times they ask me about stuff I don't feel confident answering, ESPECIALLY when it comes to directions. And I dont usually present myself as a very approachable person, and due to my headphones I am kinda hard to make contact with. So I truly just dont understand what it is about me that is so violently friendly or approachable that is just surpasses all the things that should make the older generation NOT want to talk to me

I think the story of the time I was assessed for autism is really funny.

So my main "symptom" was sensory issues (still is). When I started the test I quite quickly realized that they were only looking for social issues, which I have never really had. So I quite quickly told myself "ah okay, yeah I'm not gonna get a diagnosis from this" which was correct.

But a few weeks after the test I was called in for a meeting to get the results. And no shock it was negative. However the lady started saying shit like "yeah so you did score a lot higher than people without autism usually do, but not quite enough for a diagnosis" and Im still over here thinking "what the FUCK made my score high????" Cause I felt I did all their tasks and questions the exact way a neurotypical person would do them, and that they never actually asked any questions that matched with the symptoms of autism I was experiencing.

I still don't have any idea what made my score so high, but with my tourettes it isn't surprising

Then I remember elderly people are downloading every wack ass popup they find and filling out their info to anyone who asks, and they are fine (for the most part)

And then I feel a lot better about the fact that I tend to accept cookies

Funfact about Norway's universal healthcare

Not all kinds of treatments are covered. I have a bunch of back problems from my tourettes, so I see a chiropractor once a month, he is amazing and fixes everything in like 10-15 mins. But, Norway doesn't believe in chiropractic treatments, so I have to pay privately (or my mom pays). What treatment could I get covered? A fucking massage... I have tried it, yk, state funded massage, and it does not help at all whatsoever, and takes waayy longer, and leaves me needing a shower after cause they use oils and shit

I do find it kinda funny that the state is willing to pay for a treatment that does not work at all, but are unwilling to sponsor a treatment which works absolutely amazing every single time, and likely costs less in the long run

Just started rereading a book I really liked some years ago, not even that long ago, it was defo not before covid so probs like 2020 ish, and I have been hit with the devestating realization that the mc, who I saw as a rather well established ADULT the first time I read the book, is now in fact;

Throwback to the 8th grade when I suddenly got blind spots in my vision, and the entire left side of my body got all tingly and fell asleep. I told my teacher and his response was deadass "okay, if it's still going on at the end of class (an hour away) you can call your mom" (my school was really strict abt phones inside the school building, so I couldn't just text her either)

My mom picked me up and we went straight to the doctor so I could get checked out. Thank GOD it was just a migraine attack, but what the fuck was that teacher on
