starter for: @norahphobia where: empire diner in chelsea
leo had to admit that he was a sucker for train styled diners. historic and rare were two attributes he’ll always admire. he had fond memories of diners such as this. once he was old enough to legally work, leo would bus tables and wash dishes. he admired the blue, silver chromium diner as he sat in a booth, waiting for his dinner date. and eventually, he shifted his gaze to the street outside. and then he had been sitting there long enough for the waitress to give the table two glasses of water.
“You’re late,” Leo said immediately as Norah had came into view. “I’ve already called the cops.” He said, crossing his arms in front of him. He looked at her accusingly as if he was blaming her for something he obviously didn’t do. He was masking his bit of worry with a joke.
Nate: no! I promise, no!
Nate: just wanted to say that you're a fantastic teacher!
Nate: and I'm fine just
Nate: okay this is awkward
Nate: sorry!
Leo: Haha, I'm just kidding. Will me using one of these make you relax? 😎
Leo: I appreciate that. I know my teachings are practice based rather than theory or discussion.
Leo: But you went with it, and I'll continue to teach you still regardless if you could pay or not.
Leo: You have IT, kid. You're everything their looking for, you just have to stay focused.
closed starter: @blakemadden where: on the beach on coney island
“That should fucking do it.” Leo huffed and dusted off as much dry sand as he could on his shorts. He surveyed the beach umbrella once more, triple checking the angle of it against the sun. There was no way his daughter was going to overheat on his watch. He turned to see his... his mind tried to search for a word to describe Blake and who she was to him. Baby mama just seemed to be tainted with negativity. And Blake deserved a pedestal for what she had given him. His mind settled on his daughter and the mother of his child as he squinted at the two of them. “Almost done.” He said pressing a kiss on Mira’s forehead as she was in Blake’s arms. Then Leo moved to lay out a large waterproof mat before spreading out a sheet upon it. Once he was done, he theatrically laid down, immediately enjoying the fruit of his labor.
closed starter for: @tianaleiwilder location: at the dive bar on the 9th
Leo’s legs were stretched before him on the bar stool beside him. Shins dangling off of the cushions though he made no effort to take up more real estate. The dive bar wasn’t too busy on this late weekday night. He liked it this way. It was kind of like having the place to himself. the hum of conversation, throwback music, and the sounds of a game of pool were completely comforting to Leo. He had his usual in front of him. A whiskey sour, so chilled that the glass was sweating.
He ignored it for the time being for his phone in his hands, which rested on his lap. He bit his lip, wondering what he should say as he looked at the text messages between him and Ana. He had been the last one to say something which was evident by the multiple blue bubbles. But she hadn’t said a thing to him for three hours. His leg started to shake as he tried to figure out a way to say something but not seem so eager as he had felt. He had to play it cool but he was feeling the opposite as he looked at the time stamp of her last message. But then the grey dots popped up on the left side of the screen and Leo could feel himself shift to being excited. He quickly grabbed his drink and took a sip with his eyes still on the phone.
complain, complain, and complain is all leo wanted to do right at this very moment. he found solace complaining over his life with a glass in his hand at his favorite spot on the ninth. ah, he was waiting for the sweet relief that would come to sliding himself in his seat with his usual order waiting for him. but today’s extra curricular activities just had to wait. he had a new client that absolutely had to be seen today.
all he could do was clench his jaw as he fought the desire to abandon the empty class room that was dubbed as his office today. his foot began tapping away as he sat inncorrectly on a student’s desk. his behind was perched on the headrest and his feet flat on the seat. he was hunched over, lost in the vision of elsewhere, till a quiet scuffle made him turn around.
leo sighed, seeing the combination of big blue eyes and blonde hair. another pretty young thing to surpass him in life. fantastic, he grumbled in his head. he cleared his throat before greeting her, his voice coming out warmer than his own thoughts. “Hey there, are you,” he turned to grab the resume that was on the desk. lifting up the page as he turned back towards her, he questioned, “Deliah Roche?” @itsdelilahroche

blakemadden:
The way Leo looked down at Mira hadn’t gone unnoticed by her mother, how could it when something she wanted so badly for her daughter was for her to have the love from her father that she herself had never gotten? Her entire expression along with the feeling in her chest softening as she watched his expression changed. Everything else might be up for debate but Leo loved Mira and that was the biggest win the new mother could think of.
“You didn’t? Oh Leo! You didn’t have to do that. Thank you.” Leaning over she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, not really thinking about the implication of the move and how it might seem more than platonic with him than it might someone else until her lips were actually against his skin. Still, to be fair the past was that good. And that expensive. “I’m absolutely starving, no one tells you how much you have to eat when you’re breastfeeding, I swear all I’m doing at the moment is stuffing my face.” If Mira was eating then chances are Blake was snacking too, just to keep herself going. And right now carbs were her best friend - it was like Leo had read her mind.
Bouncing Mira gently as the man closed the door she turned around so he could greet the baby properly, shaking her head hurriedly at his words. “We would never do that. I was telling her that daddy was an actor, and he had lots of dark hair just like her, and that’s probably where she got it from. Didn’t I baby? We were talking all about it.” She was touched that he was concerned about swearing in front of her, it was something she didn’t really want to encourage after all, even if she was a matter of days old. Unable to stop a little laugh she looked at him fondly, this wasn’t the man she’d been scared to tell about her pregnancy anymore, this was someone else entirely. “It’s okay, it’s an adjustment that’s for sure, i went to turn the blender on earlier before I remembered she was asleep and if i did that I’d end up with a screaming baby on my hands. It’s mad how quickly everything has changed.” Looking back down at their daughter as she slept all snuggled in her knitted blanket, god she was cute, it was almost too much for Blake’s heart to handle.
-
“It’s nothing.” Leo had meant to say, but he swallowed the words when Blake kissed his cheek. If his levels of confusion weren’t already maxed out, he would have questioned it. He nodded as she spoke about her eating habits. Leo’s been... very attentive when it came to Blake’s mannerisms and habits after Mira was born. In short, Leo’s life had been altered because of the changes a woman’s physical and mental health goes through after giving birth. So he read the books, and kept an eye on the mother of his child.
He felt so dumb at what he had said, and his reaction to it. Mira was only days old and couldn’t understand him. But it still all mattered to him. He wanted to build the right relationship and impression with Mira. Even if she couldn’t even lift her own head. His eyes lit up when Blake mentioned telling Mira that he was an actor. He hadn’t called himself one in years. He continued to look at them as he just melted all the more when Blake mentioned the similarities of their hair. She really was his daughter.
Leo had no choice in the matter of becoming a father. But he knew he had the choice whether or not to accept the role. It still shook him when he remembered, if he had gotten drunk enough to forget. Blake’s secret from Leo may have finally came out into the world, but Leo was still keeping secrets. The list he was keeping from his wife was fairly a lot longer than the lists he had with Blake and Ren. But they were secrets nonetheless. But he did not hide his choice in being Mira’s father. Mira was a light that he wanted to show off. Though he was still adjusting his eyes to it. “Yeah it is mad,” He mumbled as his eyes left the image of mother and daughter. There was so much that had to be said, but over the last couple of days and right at this very moment, he didn’t know where to start. “We never really got to talk about it.” He said, shoving his hands into his pockets, in order to do something. “Like what we wanna do... how we feel...” he trailed off and then looked at her face to meet her eyes if she let him.

where: Vihana & Leo’s apartment, Manhattan. with: Leo Davis ( @le0davis )
She hadn’t meant to be gone so long. It had only meant to be five days, a week at most, but the mess and the chaos of the LA offices had kept her away for three weeks. She didn’t like being away from Leo for that long, not when she’d told him she would’ve been home much sooner. She had some serious making up to do…
She’d come home, unsure of when Leo would be back, and had been quick to work. The place had been left spotless by their cleaner, and decorated with vases of hydrangeas. Hana set to work, lighting candles, turning on and dimming down soft warm lights. She didn’t have the time or skill to cook what she knew Leo would love, so she ordered it in with a private chef - fresh lobster, tenderloin steak (ready to be cooked however preferred), duchess potatoes, an assortment of vegetables. Hana, being a pescatarian, would only be having the lobster.
As her chef preferred their food, Hana went to change quickly and top up her make-up. She stepped into a long white stressed, with a square bust and thin straps. All her jewellery - rings, necklaces, earrings - as always, were gold. Real gold. Combined with river pearls, malachite, moonstones, onyx. She saved her rubies and emeralds for more glamourous occasions. She had a spritz of perfume, scented with jasmine, and put on some music.
A Sunday Kind of Love, by Etta James. Classic, maybe a little cheesy but timelessly lovely.
She heard the door click open as she was setting the table, and felt her heart flutter. She moved to stand facing the door, wanting to see the expression on Leo’s face as he rounded the corner.
“Surprise.” She said simply, flashing him a smile.
-
Leo sighed, unlocking the door, he immediately expected to be met with utter silence as he had for the past twenty-one days or so. He tossed his keys into the decorate dish for them. But then he heard music which caused him to move further into the house cautiously. What or rather who he saw was not at all what he had expected.
“Vihana,” he breathed out as if he was holding his breath. His eyes immediately lighting up at the sight of her. He only focused on her even through all her handy work. The dim lighting and flowers and the scent in the air didn’t distract him at all from her beauty. Hell, he didn’t even spare a glance at her lovely gestures. Because she looked as she always looked to him, so beautifully unattainable. She was the queen to his lowly peasant. The God to his human. His leather shoulder bag was at his side like it always was when coming home from work. The only thing different about the man’s appearance was that he was cradling a pink box filled with berry cupcakes. That and his curly hair had gotten shaggier.
After the initial shock of seeing his wife, glistening and shining for his attention, he approached her quickly with a spring to his step. “You’re home.” He smiled, and immediately placed the box on the table and stripped himself of his bag, in order to wrap an arm around her waist. “You’re home, you’re home, you’re home.” He repeated, his voice ringing brighter with happiness each time. Leo couldn’t help himself and peppered her cheeks with tender kisses inbetween each phrase. Then finally he stopped to just look at her face. It was like she was gone for months rather than weeks. He gently cupped her face as if he was to kiss her. But words escaped him before he moved towards her. “I missed you.” His heart feeling as if it was soaring. This is what he had missed. This is what he was trying to replicate while she was gone.

Blake couldn’t help but swallow hard again, little did the man in front of her know just how frightening the circumstances were for him but instead she’d chosen to lull him into a false sense of security just for the chance to fend off his anger a little longer. She knew Leo had a temper, he was fiery which was ironic since that was one of the things that made him so hot sometimes, but it was also genuinely scary in others. Like the one just moments ago she seemed to have conveniently forgotten with every passing second because the way he was looking at her made the girl feel like she was the most important person in the world. The power he had over her, was significant. “Well, i wasn’t stupid enough to think you’d want to carry on sleeping with me if i told you i was pregnant.” That was…a white lie because she had thought that, but it had been overpowered by the knowledge he was the father and the need to hide that from him. He had a wife for gods sake, the whole thing was madness.
Her eyes locked with his as he spoke about how she was the one who had ended things somehow managed to tug on her heartstrings, her thumb brushing gently across his shoulder. She’d pulled away from him this was true, but for a very valid reason. Not that Leo was about to find out. Still his mention of not trying anything made her knees feel weak because the implication was that he’d otherwise be willing to do so. Actively wanting to do so. And god she had missed the way he used to touch her. “You can try something…if you want…” The words came out in a small whisper, only loud enough for him to hear, eyes still trained on his lips.
“But don’t you want sex more when you’re pregnant?” He questioned, the first question his mind went to. Sex, another addiction that he clutched onto just like he did the bottle. But her decision was more than reasonable. He became stoic for a moment, giving it actual thought. Would he continue to sleep with Blake while she was growing another man’s baby? His eyes skimmed over her now, taking in the effects that pregnancy had on her body besides her showing belly. What he found was that Blake was still Blake, still mesmerizing, but most importantly her assets were fuller and rounder. He could only imagine just how her body looked like now. And something primal in him caused his nostrils to flare with his next breath.
“If I want?” he questioned, confirming the transfer of power she had handed to him so easily. His eyes had continually watched hers so it wasn’t at all hard to notice that her gaze was so prominently on his mouth. He parted his lips to not say a word but to let his tongue swipe his bottom lip as if to regain moisture to the flesh. But he knew what he was doing. It was always so simple to be a charming Casanova when he became sexually awakened like this. He moved carefully and closely to her to make sure only she heard his next words. “I’ll always want to… but I won’t until you beg me.”
