"You'll know who truly loves you Shouta, it's the little things we don't often notice..."
His mother used to tell him that while growing up, one of the many life lessons he would here from her. Comes with the territory of being raised by a single mother. She taught him everything there was to know about navigating this wild ride called life.
She taught him that love is kind and patient, it doesn't want anything in return. She told him that intimacy is gentle and compassionate, it doesn't need to be rushed or forced. But the one thing that really stuck with the man, was when she told him about marriage.
His father was always a distant man, only really appearing for his life milestones: Graduations, Birthday parties, he even showed up at his wedding.
His mother once said: "Marry for love, and it will be all you need".
At the time when she said that, Shouta was just fresh out of the hero academy. He wasn't even thinking about things like love or marriage. But now, looking at his husband Toshinori, sharing a bed with him while being the big spoon...
It all suddenly made sense.
He held Toshinori close to his body, like a child with their favorite stuffed animal. All those things his mother taught him, he finally understood what it all meant.

I tried to make this one wholesome, but I don’t know if I did a very good job, but anyways...
I also semi-managed to make this one a bit longer because of how short the other ones were, so... yeah.
Anyway, I really hope you all enjoy this, and feedback is always appreciated!

Day 6 - Free Day
“But going back to what I was saying earlier,” Melissa took a big gulp of her hot chocolate, “ when rain falls down from the clouds, it freezes due to the very cold temperature, given that it’s winter.”
“Huh...” Nejire also took a sip of her drink, “I guess you really do learn something new everyday.”
With the trigger of the cliché bell ding, the café doors opened for a new customer, and a chilling block of air wafted towards Melissa and Nejire, the both of them shivering in response.
“I’m not really used to this cold,” said Melissa, “it never snowed at I-Island.”
“Bummer.” Replied Nejire.
“Bummer?” Melissa perked up, “how?”
Nejire took another delightful sip of her beverage. “Well, for starters,” she began, “you can build a snowarmy.”
“A snowarmy?” Repeated Melissa, “don’t you mean a snowman?”
“No, a snowarmy.” Nejire took another sip, “they’re good company to have around, and are very handy in snowball fights.”
“How so?”
“They can be used as barriers,” explained Nejire, “and also as good suppliers.”
Melissa became hesitant, “please don’t tell that I’m thinking what you’re thinking.”
“Hm? How? Anyway, you can take a good chunk of snow out of them whenever you run out of the snow around you.”
“But they’re protecting you! Don’t you think that’s unfair for them?”
“It’s called a snowarmy for a reason. Every soldier dies while fighting for their country, or in this case, their ruler: me.” Nejire drained the rest of her drink, “I would go on with the list, but I think you get the point I’m trying to make.”
Melissa nodded, also finishing her drink. “That conversation we just had didn’t make sense at all.”
“It only doesn’t make sense to you, because you didn’t choose to understand.”
“Right...” Melissa started to zip on her jacket, “I don’t think that’s how it works, but okay.” Melissa and Nejire both made their way out of the café, the snow outside was falling ever-so-slowly.
“Oh, and another thing.”
Melissa looked at Nejire, “yeah? About what?”
“Y’know, the cool things about snow? Well, it isn’t really about snow, but about winter in general.”
“Go on...”
“Well, if your hands ever get cold, you can always hold someone’s hand to warm them.” Nejire took Melissa’s hand in hers.”Or in other words, I just gave myself an invitation to hold yours.”
Melissa smiled, “invitation? Who said anything about you needing an invitation to hold my hand?” Melissa gripped Nejire’s hand affectionately, “you’re always welcome to hold my hand, Neji.”

Day 5 - Fantasy AU
"Please let me in! This will change the reputation of paleontology for years to come!"
"I'm sorry, but the specific reporter you have asked for is currently busy with something else."
"Please! I'm begging you!" Setsuna fell onto her hands and knees to pleade. "Literally!"
"No." The receptionist deadpanned.
"Please! Pretty please!"
"No."
"Actually, I would love to interview her."
Setsuna looked up hopeful and was forever grateful to see Manga Fukidashi, the journalist she - literally - begged for, standing in the doorway to his office.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Setsuna jumped to her feet and hurried past the receptionist. Manga closed the door behind her and walked over to his desk.
His table was unorganized with papers strewn in every space, where the only places where there were no papers was where his piles of notebooks were placed, and his large typewriter was in the middle of his table.
He took a seat and crossed his legs. “So...” he began, “you’re allowed to have a seat.”
“Oh, right,” Setsuna gingerly sat down on a leather armchair seated across from him. It had multiple holes in it.
“Um, I made a new discovery."
"So I heard, it's about paleontology, yeah?"
"Um, yes." Mumbled Setsuna, this is so awkward! "It was Megalosaurus Bucklandii."
"You do realize I have no idea what you're reffering to?"
"It was a Megalosaurus, I just stated the latin name."
"Okay," Manga began scribbling ferociously in one of his notebook. "How do you spell it, again?"
+++
It was wondeful interveiwing you." Exclaimed Manga, a little loudly. Sestuna could hear the waitress scoff.
"Well, the pleasure is really all mine! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to get my discovery spread out to-"
"Are you going to pay for your visit?" The receptionist spat with a cold tone in her voice, and Setsuna smiled weakly.
"Yes."
Setsuna paid, and no words came out of the receptionist's mouth; just a frown speaking all the words for her.
Leaving, Setsuna turned around to say one last goodbye to Manga, and blushed at her when he waved goodbye back.
Maybe the Megalosaurus discovery wasn't the only best thing that happened that day...

No hate to anyone who ships it, but I had a feeling that something like this would be out there among the fandom...
End me, this so toooooo funny.
Day 2 - Heartbeat
“Kiri, do you hear that?” Setsuna’s face became plastered with worry as she held her boyfriend’s hand tighter.
“Don’t worry, babe, I’m sure it’s just an animal.”
“But-”
There was another scurrying sound again, but was quickly followed with a crash of metal cans and a soft yelp.
“It’s coming from over there!” Setsuna let go of Kirishima’s hand.
“Setsu, wait!” But it was no use; Setsuna had already ran to a wad of dumpsters and crouched down for a better look. There was sympathy in her eyes.
“Kiri, come look!” Kirishima walked to his girlfriend and looked to where she was pointing. A small puppy cowered underneath heaps of trash. “The poor thing! We need to help it!”
“Setsu,” Kirishima wanted to protest; there was no way they’d be able to handle a puppy. Even if it were a well behaved one, puppies were pricey, and with all the hero work they both had in their daily lives gave up no time for taking care of a puppy. But he knew that his girlfriend wouldn’t take no for an answer, so much that she’d work her way around it...
Kirishima then made up his mind. “Setsuna-”
And at that point, he took too long. Setsuna was already holding the puppy as if it were her own child. It was a white collie pup with black and beige spots, and with bright blue eyes...
Yes, it was adorable. But Kirishima knew that he had to tell Setsuna sooner or later.
“Kiri, come feel it’s heartbeat!” Setsuna held her hand on the puppy’s chest. Kirishima placed his hand on the pup’s warm fur and felt it’s heart race.
Ba-dum! Ba-dum! Ba-dum!
Kirishima sighed, the poor thing was quite frightened...
Fine. They could only keep it for a few nights. Then, they’ll make up their minds on what to do with it.
But not so long afterwards, when Setsuna and Kiri got to their apartment, Setsuna wasn’t the only one rubbing the pup’s belly...
