Why I think the "progress" flag is actually regressive.

apparently it's time for me to get mad about the "progress" flag again…

I've always had major problems with the "progress" flag, it if anything is separating us further as a community whereas the regular Rainbow as it was is all encompassing.

As a brown person I just find the flag sickening... what does skin colour or illness have to do with my Queerness? NOTHING. I know some will try to say "well it's because we're all discriminated against!" but the reasons for discrimination are completely none related... and I see the flag as discriminating... having Black and Brown represent AIDS and HIV aswell as Skin colour, on a flag meant for queer people further make it out like it's the "Gay/Brown people virus" which... is fucked up. I am saying this as a brown disabled gay trans man... I do not like this damn flag and never will.

it doesn't help that the creator, Daniel Quasar, is a white person (at least as far as I know)... this is a form of what is known as "positive racism" Virtue signalling and white guilt. I am sick of it all and have faced it my entire life… do people not realise by being this way they dehumanise people like me? they treat me like I'm another species they can't properly comprehend because they're white and I'm not. I don't know who needs to hear this but you are not a bad person just because you are white!... you are also being racist to yourselves through your white guilt and it makes me sad… we're all just people on a tiny space rock. quit trying to appease us by being racist! just treat me like a person!

I enjoy the animal names in Japanese that are just different kinds of bears (especially the ones that are not actually bears).

polar bear　 ->　 白熊　"white bear"

raccoon**　->　洗熊　"washing bear"

badger**　->　穴熊　"hole bear"

panda*　->　熊猫　"bear cat"

koala*　->　子守熊　"babysitter bear"

*Panda and koala are actually just called パンダ and コアラ, but the kanji do exist and I think they're neat.

**Raccoon and badger are also usually written in katakana, アライグマ and アナグマ, respectively.

oh it's not just American kids... British kids too sadly. they still don't get that they're making all LGBT people look insane which will lead to our rights being fucked with further! why is it so hard for some people to get that siding with people who hate you doesn't remove the target from your back?

I don't get why American kids prefer totalitarian/authoritarian governments to democracies now. Don't they understand that shit like "my pronouns are they/them" do not go together with "gas the Jews, free gaza"? In gaza, you'd be murdered/jailed (depending on your luck, I guess) for even having an idea that you might be any other gender but the one "assigned" to you at birth. This way trump will become America's next president, and we're all gonna be knee-deep in trouble. These kids are fucking things up for all of us who try to oppose russia and its dictatorial homies in the west.

It's been so long since I felted and this felt so good. Like I already mentioned, I used wool from gay rams for them (so poetic!!). Not exclusively, since the colours didn't 100% match. But all the dark parts and most of Mello's blond coat is made with RainbowWool and I can't thank them enough for sending me some of their wool!! 🧡🧡🧡

I just learned this phrase the other day. It's used when entering someone's house and kinda means "please excuse the intrusion!" or "I'm coming in!" (Or, literally: "I'm being a nuisance!" How very Japanese 😅)

Or, if you're an anime/video game bad boy, you can say: "邪魔するぞと"
