šā¤ļølaurent w a book and his brother what more do i have to say
I like to hurt myself and draw happy moments.
Lucas Cranach the Elder - Paul (c. 1515). Details.
so iāve been doing a captive prince reread for the nth time (naturally) and am encountering some confusion regarding laurentās ambush at the start of kings rising.
basically, laurent and his ravenel troops have set out for charcy two days before damen in the name of tactical advantage, but end up missing their rendezvous. we soon come to find that this is because laurent is busy being trapped in a room with govart.
i struggle to understand where the rest of laurentās men were/are during the time laurent was being taken away/is captured and why they were still very alive later on (as we see when damen arrives to fortaine and sees their many tents)
like what even happened? what did the ambush look like? were they just hanging about outside somewhere?
perhaps iām missing something⦠or maybe itās just a plot hole. in any case.. thoughts ?
literally stunning my goodness
i read fics specifically for this
i went off w this one
my take.
Nicaise lives and comes back to Laurent one spring, clad in armor; he is a young man now, ready to serve his King.
i mean look at that face
another (but lazy) attempt to draw the Laurent
screaming
Auguste was the protector. He would do anything for his little brother.
