A supernatural edit to the song ‘waiting room’ by Phoebe Bridgers (specifically when she first starts chanting ‘I know it’s for the better’ building up to the instrumental part)

While she’s saying ‘I know it’s for the better’ it shows the shit tfw had to give up along the way for the better of the world

Examples:

- them burning Bobby’s flask so he doesn’t hurt people

- cas giving up his life to save dean in 15x18

- cas and dean talking before cas left to close up heaven (and wasn’t supposed to come back)

- ben and Lisa having their minds swept

- dean saying goodbye to Benny

- jack fading away in 15x19 (losing their son)

- Sam saying goodbye to Rowena before she died

- Crowley sacrificing himself

-etc

Then when the instruments kick in and the lyrics stop it’s just flashbacks of all the happy cute asf time between the boys and bobby, benny, jack, Castiel, Crowley, Rowena, Ben/Lisa etc

god i love the motel scene in on the head of a pin where uriel and cas come to take dean away to torture alastair. it is such a good early destiel scene. dean is so pissed and cas is just standing over in the corner all “dean we know this is difficult to understand” while uriel is saying “and we dont care!” cas looks straight ahead like fuck i messed up again AND THEN the way that dean looks at cas and the way that cas refuses to look back at him. and then when he finally does he looks so conflicted! and then dean just looks only at cas and pleads with him “you cant ask me to do this cas—not this” and cas looks like he wants to give in he wants to give dean whatever he wants but he’s still fighting it! still trying to be the good soldier he thinks he is. this episode is literally such a turning point for cas’s character. he hasn’t quite reached the point of no return yet but this is the episode where he finally takes a big step in that direction

27/6 I've just finished packing for the Paris trip tomorrow!! I've been excited about it for so long - a whole week to just explore and have fun with my friends. YAY! castiel also asks “yes but do i look attractive” and dean is like “who do you need to look attractive for” while sam is like “just answer the question” and dean is like “i cannot do that, besides why don’t you answer the question” and sam is like “well okay cas i guess you could lose the trenchcoat” and dean is immediately like “what the hell are you talking about that’s the most attractive part” and then they both kinda stare at dean. for good reason
