Not portraying as Bentley as that weird friend who does illegal science experiments in your basement is a wasted opportunity.
interesting that this little plot point has popped back up...
I am a big subscriber to the “Charles and Erik took that knowledge from Reed and used it for themselves to mask Franklin’s X-Gene and manipulate him into thinking he’s not actually a mutant because he was a threat to them” theory, so this is very interesting indeed...
I hope we see this brought up again soon. And of course I hope that Franklin is still a mutant because it’s really stupid that he’s not and takes away from his character :)
The first thing they teach you at mom school is not to let your kids disturb any cursed skulls.
(Fantastic Four Volume 7 #26)
Luna: Ok, maybe playing ‘whose family is most dysfunctional’ wasn’t the best idea we’ve had. Ahura's been crying in the bathroom for an hour. We can’t get him out…
Namor: *comes to the surface world* *sees the state of the world*
Namor:
Oh great points! I never thoughts about the fact that Ahura and Luna are really the only Inhuman kids that have been looked at in detail, and Luna isn't even a full Inhuman. Treste and Irelle do support that idea though. We really do have no idea what the typical Inhuman aging cycle looks like. The only thing that's weird about that is that Ahura is calling himself 16 (?) when he wouldn't be 16 by actual years, but by physical age... Unless Inhumans age quickly as kids and then start aging slower as they reach their teen/adult years? Well now I'm confusing myself lol
the fact that Luna Maximoff was literally born before Billy and Tommy but bc of the retro-reincarnation* the twins are full grown adults and Luna is still a middle-schooler.
*nobody in the mid-2000s was playing close enough attention to the timeline, also because Luna is the Franklin Richards of Atillan and will never age.
This artwork is horrifying. Franklin looks like a short forty year old man when he’s supposed to be a toddler 😭
We don’t know much about Luna, but I’m convinced she’s not above making fun of her dad.

so awkward that this week’s Fantastic Four had more “trial” than this weeks Trial of Magneto…
Fabian Cortez just wants to be ANYONE'S nemesis and NOBODY wants him and it is the FUNNIEST thing and it will be funny until THE DAY I DIE. He's ridiculous and I love him.
Quicksilver when picking a nemesis:
After reading the "Layla Miller is Luna Maximoff" stuff I went and looked at her Wiki article to re-familiarize myself with the character and found this bit: "During the Superhero Civil War, Quicksilver makes repeated attempts to enter X-Factor Investigations Headquarters. Each time, he is thwarted by Layla, whom Quicksilver comes to consider his nemesis." FABIAN IS SCREAMING! PIETRO ACKNOWLEDGES THE *TEEN GIRL* AS HIS NEMESIS BUT NOT HIM?! THE OUTRAGE!! XD
Yes, but she *might* be his magically-created substitute daughter from an alternate reality, so accepting her as his nemesis is a really Magneto-like thing for Pietro to do. Cortez should be thrilled! Finally, Quicksilver is on the path to true love villainy. He’ll probably need a scheming advisor for that, right? Perhaps some dashing fellow with fabulous hair and a cape? :D
