This May Be An Unpopular Opinion, And I May End Up Eating My Words In The Weeks/months To Come, But I

this may be an unpopular opinion, and i may end up eating my words in the weeks/months to come, but i don’t think that arthur is following a corruption arc or losing his humanity. that’s not to say that arthur is doing well or making good decisions, but i think there is an important distinction to be made between arthur slowly breaking down and making more morally dubious decisions and arthur losing his humanity, which to me is a very specific word that has a very specific meaning and that holds considerable weight in this podcast. here’s why:

Would recommend these fics for anyone looking for something new and angsty to read… and because I have no life I’ve already read most of them oop

I dunno if this has been asked before, but would you mind recommending some good ol bnha fics? If not that’s okay! I just really enjoy reading the ones you mention on your blog

:)

image

oh boy do i

why not bust out my whole dang list

now most of these fics are focused more around plot than shipping but there are some shippy ones here n there

also 90% of them are also at least 20k words at minimum bc do i love my slow burn fics

under the cut i divided the fics in some categories so its just not one giant mess lmao hope you can some you enjoy in here

symbol guide:

*     - great fic, if you’re not sure where to start give these a shot || **    - one of my top favorites ||✔    - fic is part of a series and the first (or multiple) of it is complete ||✔✔ - fic is completely 100% finished ||

edit: main ships in fics have been tagged as requested (but once again, most of the fics do not revolve around the romance, so keep that in mind)

last edit: 3/9/2021

current fic count: 226

Screenshot of a tweet that reads: Yknow what I’d like to see as an illustrator?

A database of cultural clothes/items submitted by people within those cultures with info like how often its used and reference photos

It would make diversity in art so much easier

Is there something like that??

tweet

Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.

It's been one hell of a ride, but my god am I glad i got on board when I did.

Happy Birthday lulu, here's to many great works of writing and art from us all to come

I Can’t Believe “Across The Sands” Is Nearing Its Conclusion Pretty Soon. Almost Two Years Of Work

I can’t believe “Across The Sands” is nearing its conclusion pretty soon. Almost two years of work have gone into this journey, from the sandy compound of Nanda Parbat to the grimy streets of Gotham. I’m having a lot of emotions right now, and this before/after was a good way to vent them.

Thank you so very much to those who participated in this birthday challenge, including @haikuofmanyhues & @jcryptid. Your contributions were wonderful!!!

This reply means the world to me. Regardless of where you’re from, or what’s happening in your country, you matter. Your struggles matter, even if they don’t feel large enough or aren’t getting any international media attention.

This post isn’t just for Americans, or Australians, or Palestinians or people living in the UK. It’s for everyone, who just needs a little reminder that there is reason to hope, and that reason can manifest in a thousand tiny ways.

A PSA from my D&D Characters in light of the recent election.

I don't live in America, but like so many others we are feeling the ramifications of what happened and how much the right's hate has emboldened facsism and hate across the world.

I can't do much alone and I don't intend to, but hopefully myself and my art can help you find just a bit of hope. Enough, at least, to take care of yourselves and eachother, and enough to find the strength to keep fighting for a brighter future.

Please remember that in a system that wants you gone, caring for yourself and eachother is a form of rebellion they will never be able to take away from us.

We will survive this.
