I had a random thought that spiraled into a whole thing that I need to rant about

What if, at some point, before or after ToA, Apollo just… snapped? What if he got fed up with his true relationships failing, his father's abuse, or having to oversee so many different things? What if he quit?

He left his various jobs and responsibilities to either the Nine Muses or mortals he deemed fit. He gave the sun chariot to Hestia, since she was the only one he could trust with such a duty.

After making sure everything was right, and after telling only his sister, Artemis, of his plans, he vanished. He set off to get revenge against those who wronged him, and to find his happy ending.

this is what i think he'd look like after all that

YIPPEE *wraps him in a super fuzzy blanket and hands him like 20 different beanie-babies, a minecraft bee, a few axolotl plushies of various sizes, and some pink dolphin I got at the state fair like 6 years ago. also hands him a cup of hot chocolate with pumpkin spice creamer in it. and a massive Costco cookie for good measure*

I hope this makes you feel better since I doubt any amount of therapy will fix what you've gone through- of course, I'm all ears if you want to talk or something. You deserve to feel loved and appreciated and cared for like the rest of us!
