I’m fairly sure McCree tipped Ashe to the train? He does say she could “never resist a good tip”. Also Bob ripped McCree’s arm off, and Echo (floaty AI lady) has apparently been out of the loop for sufficiently long enough that she doesn’t know who Winston is or how McCree lost his arm. Intriguing.
Also, Echo this year as a hero seems damn near guaranteed, so there’s that.

I recently read a lot of Ghost Rider comics with Johnny Blaze. Now I’m wondering if I’m really the only one who kind of ships Johnny Blaze and Zarathos? Not in a “I want to see you two in bed together” kind of way [Hell no, that would be more than weird], but in a “I need to see more of you two together, because you’re awesome” kind of way. I just love to see them fighting for control, having to accept that they need each other or bickering like an old married couple. Seriously, it’s hilarious. They’re probably my favorite Marvel characters at the moment.

I’ve had this list sitting around for a while (in case I ever want to try something new) and I thought I’d share it, because why the hell not, everybody loves free stuff. I’ve only used a couple, so for all I know these could be complete shit. BUT YOU NEVER KNOW, RIGHT?
*= available for both windows and mac os
GIMP * - Does a lot of the same stuff as Photoshop.
FireAlpaca * - Similar to Paint Tool Sai, so it’s a good alternative for Mac users.
Autodesk Sketchbook Copic Edition * - Simulates the look of copic markers.
MyPaint * - Basic stuff, nothing fancy.
Pinta * - Drawing program modeled after paint.NET.
Inkscape * - Vector/drawing program meant to be similar to Illustrator.
ArtRage * - Digital painting program; you can get the trimmed down version for free or buy the full version with more features.
Sumo Paint * - In-browser drawing app.
DAZ Studio * - Some sort of 3D model poser thing.
Pencil * - Software for animating.
SketchUp * - Tool for making 3D models. Looks handy for stuff like architectural drawings.
Blender * - Pretty popular 3D software.
escape motions * - Some browser apps, fun to fiddle with when you’re bored (the fluid fire simulation is pretty cool imo).
Twistedbrush (Pixarra) - Seems to be meant for replicating the look of traditional media.
Pixia/Phierha - A popular program in Japan, according to the website.
Krita - This was originally made for Linux and it looks like the developers haven’t ironed out all of the kinks in the Windows installer.
Artweaver - Another trimmed down free thing if you don’t want to buy the full program.
paint.NET - Pretty basic kit, probably good for simple stuff.
Project Dogwaffle - I’m not sure what this one is all about because I couldn’t stop laughing at the terrible website.
Speedy Painter - Lightweight digital painting program.
mtPaint - Originally made for pixel art; simple enough to run on older computers.
Chasys Draw IES - Supposed to be some sort of drawing+image editor thing.
PaintRibbon - Seems to be another plain old basic image editor.
DrawPlus - Looks like it’s made for graphic design and vector stuff.
SmoothDraw - I’m guessing this is a basic thing for people who don’t want to bother with complicated stuff.
So judging by the cinematic Zero Hour, apparently Rein/Brig/Echo and of course Genji and Mercy already "met" before joining Winston in Paris, or was it complete coincidence ? How did it go ?
Well my working theory was that Rein, Brig, Echo, and Genji were already moving to converge on Gibraltar, since presumably that’s where Winston’s Recall was coming from.
Mercy is a bit more complicated because we know Baptiste called her to warn her that Talon would probably be targeting her, but we don’t know if she would go rushing back to the arms of recalled Overwatch–after all, she has the voiceline on Gibraltar of “Overwatch was shut down for a reason, maybe it’s best it stay that way.” So if Mercy was also heading to Gibraltar from where she was doing relief work in the middle east, it might not necessarily be to join Overwatch, but to compile information on Talon with Winston and make sure other former Overwath members are safe. But we do know she rushes off to wherever there’s trouble, so if she heard Null Sector was attacking innocent civilians in Paris, she’d come swooping in to the rescue. And I do think she would still value her former teammates (She was definitely still close with Genji, as hinted at with their letter-writing) and she would want to help and protect them if they were also protecting the civilians of Paris, as well.
I wouldn’t say it was a ‘coincidence’ so much as “There is a huge robot invasion and everyone’s stepping up to fight because that’s what heroes do.”
“My brothers. My sister. All lost. Ashes…”
