Accidentally repeating history by making an Elven Rook (originally Dalish by design/if game permits) who finds themselves trying to save the world in the footsteps of Inquisitor Lavellan.

It would be really cool to find some Rook + Lavellan / Lavellan + Ameridan parallels while playing through Veilguard.

Dorian is Pavus because peacocks are considered fancy, regal fowl. He is an aristocrat who still holds a lot of privilege despite wanting to change Tevinter for the better. Neve is Gallus because chickens are considered more plain and down-to-earth fowl than peacocks, while belonging to the same bird family. Their goals align but Neve is much closer to the common folk. I know that it’s now canon that Solas is bald because after a long period of time ancient elves lose their hair, but I think it’s far more interesting and powerful if Solas just keeps his head shaved as a sign of mourning, almost a penance for his actions in the past. That’s substantially more compelling to me. And it should be darker tbh.
