f1 drivers with longer hair in the 2000s>>>
"why can't two men just be friends" "why can't two women just be friends" "why can't a man and a woman just be friends" why can't i run you over with a honda civic omfg
really got me giggling how much we talk about the magic of first teammates and how special that relationship is (lando and carlos, yuki and pierre, basically max and daniel) and then there’s 2007 rookie lewis hamilton who entered the sport and immediately pissed off his first teammate, fernando alonso, a TWO TIME WORLD CHAMPION so much they became one of the most infamous purely toxic and intense teammate rivalries of all time.
hmmm interesting never had a tumblr brfore this, let's see how this goes. my new private not so private diary
saya takde apa pun nak cakap. Bila ku tak tinggal di msia saya takde orang nak bercakap melayu dengan. Saya berasa macam sedih sikit? Ini paling lama masa yang saya tak cakap dan tak dengar bm dah. Bukan lah macam bm is my first language also, saya bercakap ingris kat rumah dan sekolah selalu, so speaking english is not the adjustment. Walaupun saya tak berfikir dalam bm, ku mau the chance to bercakap dalam malay anyways.
bwoah
not to senna/schumacher post on main but do you ever think about this picture
[ nicola larini and schumacher being told that senna was in critical condition ]
or this clip of michael being asked if equalling senna meant much to him
do you ever think about the fact that michael was in denial when confronted with senna's death and only admitted to accepting it two weeks after the fact. do you ever think he would have felt guilt realising he watched senna sustain his injuries a few corners ahead during a seemingly "innocuous crash" whilst chasing him. do you ever think, retrospectively, that he felt like he shouldn't have won at imola. do you ever think about the fact that even in death senna continued to dominate headlines, eclipsing schumacher's win. do you ever think about the fact that schumacher and senna would occasionally meet after races to discuss where they had gone wrong/where they had lost speed. do you ever think about schumacher realising that would never happen again. do you ever think about the love that was there.
because i do.
Question for Spanish speaking F1blr-- non Spanish speakers (such as myself) are def missing out on the nuanced differences in accents and dialects between Spanish speaking drivers. What do you pick up from the way Spanish speakers like Fernando, Carlos, Checo, and Franco talk? (Ex. Fernando is from a working class background, while Carlos is upper class and seemingly old money-- does that come through in the way they speak? Do Franco and Checo have regional accents from within their home countries, and have they changed their Spanish to sound more European after living abroad? Do any of them use fun country specific slang?)
Anyway, hoping this turns into the sequel of the British accent post because I love hearing about sociolinguistics. Though this may be more difficult since obviously the Hispanic world is a lot bigger than the UK.
I fear those of you praying Oscar Piastri morphs into Sebastian Vettel are not considering the following two factors:
Sebastian Vettel in his youth, was a terrorist on and off track. He drove Lewis and Fernando and everyone else NUTS.
It might kill Mark Webber.
