DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT PALESTINE!
Muerte/Death x Reader:
Love?
Just a short one. I wanted to write after not being able to for so long, and this'll probably be the only one I'll post after a while because exams are coming and I have, like, 2 bedrooms and an entire loft apartment I need to design + an explanation as to what design principles I chose and why I chose them, all while I'm sick and need to finish my architectural plates. So yeah xD
She's never loved anyone before.
At least not like this.
Before, she used to think that maybe love wasn't meant for her. That it was something that she wouldn't be able to reach out to and fully grasp in her hand, feel it in between her fingertips and feel its welcoming warmth in her palm and press it closely to her beating chest like she was so used to hearing about in books and in stories. That it was only something she could look at from afar and watch as others would be complete with their hold of the feeling of romance so dear that they dared trust it near their heart.
And she wasn't going to lie. She was content with that. She was content with the thought of never finding love like the others. Because maybe, maybe that's not where her life was supposed to go. And yet even though she's told herself that a plethora of times that the words were engraved in her head and in her heart, that it replaced the prayers she muttered to herself in the morning or at night, she still looked at a couple happily holding one another with the burn of wonder and jealousy that the words she had engraved so long in her heart and brain would fade.
How would it feel to have someone you could trust enough with the darkest and most destructive part of you? Trust them enough to hold you so close in a way that you would be treated as the most delicate fine china that they'd ever seen, cup your cheek with the palm of their hand and brush the soft or calloused flat of their thumb against your cheek and feel the love in that single stroke before looking at you in the eye and whisper out those words of reassurance that she's never had the privilege of hearing.
"I love you."
The words that burned through her heart and cracked the thick stone walls she's built around her heart and engraved with the words she's told herself since she had the acceptance of her lack of romance, watch as those walls crack and crumble until she's buried underneath the debris of pain and loneliness she's protected herself from after all these years.
Now, she feels the way his arms wrapped around her form, holding her as if she's the most delicate fine china she never was, feeling him laying his chin atop her head as his evened out breaths were the only sound that mattered in the dark room. She could feel the warmth of his embrace surrounding her with more care than anyone has ever given her in her life and could only lean her head against his chest, too tired of trying to fight away the love he was giving her, too tired of denying herself something that she should be receiving in the first place.
She's never loved anyone like this before. And when she goes to wrap her arm around his form, smell the lingering scent of the smoke of incense mixing with her bath products from the amounts of times he's joined her in the bath before, feel the softness of his fur in between her fingertips and feel the tip of his claws tracing mindless circles on her back, she knew she finally found the comfort of a home.
And though poets will tell people not to think of any person as such because they'll one day turn your comfort into fear, turn that love into hatred, and crush the thought of home from your mind that the sight of comfort would make your insides burn with anguish, she could only look up at his sleeping face, let the smile grace her lips and watch with a strange fascination as to how he'd come to change her life, and give him her full trust that he will remain as her home for as long as he wanted to be, and she knew she'd be doing the same.
Request:
Can I request some death x life! Reader? She's the opposite of death and married to him? (Y/n) is a friend to Perrito as she would protect that pup and she was very happy that Perrito was able to find new friends. (Y/n) was the one who saved Perrito from getting drowned as she sees all life as her âchildrenâ and it pained to see Perrito nearly die.(Y/n) came across death in the last part of the movie as she was apologizing at Puss on her husbandâs behalf.
I actually think this is a cute idea and I find the idea of y/n thinking of all life forms as her kids is amazing. Also itâs Kinda of gonna go along with y/n just being in the movie? Like she follows along by team friendship but they donât know sheâs there and just spyâs on them to make sure that perrito is in good hands.
Death with a wife who is the embodiment of life!
Warnings: a little bit of angst, spoilers to perritoâs past. Also itâs gonna be a bit long. And some fighting.
You had lived for over a million years, you graced the earth with life while your husband was the one to end the timer of their limited life. You both have done your jobs for all your immortal lives. You appreciated all life form on the earth and soon you thought of them as your own children.
You were walking down a river with a small smile at the beautiful landscape. You heard a noise not to far from you and your eyes widened rushing towards the noise. As you got closer you saw a sock and some movement. Reaching out for the sock you then saw a head of a puppy looking happy but also confused. âHelloâ! The puppy piped, your eyes went wide. âYou can talkâ? You asked and he nodded. You soon came to realize that he chewed a hole in to the sock but there was a couple rocks still in the bottom.
âHere let me get that for you my childâ. You said softly pulling the rocks out. He shook the water off his fur. Smiling softly you rubbed his head,âwhat happened to you, why are in a sock with rocks?â You asked the naĂŻveïżŒ puppy in your arms as you pet him. âIâm it all the time In hide and seek, my litter mates always tired putting me in dumpsters, crates, but I always found themâ! He says and your eyes went wide realizing what he was going through. âToday they got creative and so they put me in a sock with rocks in it and threw me in the riverâ!
You swore you felt your heart ache at that. âOh my, how could they do thatâ? You felt slightly angry at his owners for nearly killing an innocent puppy. âOh well I gotta go thank you for helping me out of the river after all Iâm still itâ! He yells jumping from your lap and running off.
Upon arriving home you were greeted with your husband, âhello darling how was your dayâ? You asked him always interested in how his day was even after millions of years. âIt was actually a slow day today, what about yoursâ? He asked your eyes slightly averted from his. âIt was a little sadâ. You stated and his eyes softened. âOh how soâ.? âI was walking Down the river and I saw a sockâ. Your husband could only nod and his ears were slightly perked. âWhen I got closer to the sock I saw a head pop out and their big eyes staring into to mineâ.
Death slowly rubbed a paw against your back in a way to still show he was still listening. âWhen I took them completely out of the water I saw that there were a few rocks in the bottom of the sockâ. âThen when I asked him what happened to him and why he was in there he said it was a game of hide and seekâ. Your husband saw some tears form in your eyes and he gently wiped them away. âAt least you saved him from drowning rightâ? He told you with a gentle smile as he cupped your cheek. You smiled at that and took note that you would do anything for the puppy.
About a year later you had heard of the infamous puss in boots, and how he wasted his lives. One day you had heard you husband grumble at how he finally got to go after the cat who thought he was immortal. âHey muerte does he not have 1 life leftâ? You stated as you folded some laundry. âYes but mi vida he didnât value any of themâ. âTrue but I say let him live his life I mean since heâs on his last life he might just settle downâ. You simply stated folding one of your shirts. âI figured Iâd take it now so he doesnât die of accidentally falling off a cliffâ. You laughed at that. âHe claimed to be immortal and I want him to know that heâs not, and cause Iâve been following him for yearsâ.
You sighed at your husbandâs words and put the folded laundry up. âHey Iâm gonna head into town do you need anythingâ? You asked while grabbing your cloak. âNo I donât think soâ. He responded from the other room.
About an hour later after visiting the market for some stuff for dinner. As your walking back you her a noise from below you and you see what seems to be an orange cat running for his life. âHuh he looked like puss in bootsâ. You say to yourself.
A couple months later you see your own husband go to the dark forest and out of curiosity you followed. âOh lord what is he gonna do nowâ. You mentally asked yourself. Stepping inside you saw colorful hills and some big blue flowers in the distance they seem to have caught your attention. Making your way over you saw two cats and one small dog. You felt as though you knew the dog. âWhatâs your storyâ? Kitty soft paws asked the dog. âMy story? Oh itâs actually a funny storyâ. You listened silently wondering why he was so familiar. âBack when I was a pup me and my litter mates lived with a familyâ. âA family full of pranksters who liked to play hide and seek and I was always itâ. Your eyes widened as you thought of how could you meet the puppy you saved, but then he continued. âPick on the little guy am I rightâ? âThey tried putting me in a packing crate, a dumpster, no matter how hard they tried Iâd always find themâ. You could feel the familiar heart ache creep up on you. âSo one day they got creative and they put me in a sock with rocks in it and threw me in the riverâ. You saw how kittyâs and pussâs eyes widened. âI somehow started above the water cause I saw a very pretty lady pick me up and take the rocks outâ.
You smiled and realized that this was the puppy you saved just the year before. You saw how happy he looked with puss and kitty. You felt relieved at the fact that he found some people who would also protect him. You spied on them more then your husband because you wanted to make sure they were ok. Puss threw his stick sword out after receiving the blade from kitty, but then peritto jumped out to grab the stick. âPerritoâ! Puss yelled, you had a bad feeling about what was going to happen.
You watched as jack horner came out from the bushes and had Perrito in his hand. âHand over the wish or we can see what the unicorn horn can doâ. âPut him down little jack Hornerâ! You yelled jumping down from the hill you were recently watching them from. Landing behinds kitty and puss you glared at jack. âPut him down little jackâ. He glared right back at you, âoh what are you gonna do about itâ? He now pointed the horn to you, âif you donât want the puppy getting hurt why donât I hit you with it insteadâ? He offered to which you smiled cause I mean you literally the embodiment of life he could hurt you with a single horn.
âShoot away little jackâ. You said, shooting the horn at you easily dodged and went straight for perrito. As all hell broke lose of fighting over the wish you grabbed perrito and caught a glimpse at puss being visibly uncomfortable and when you looked behind him you saw none other then your husband. Puss ran off and perrito jumped out of your arms and ran after puss.
About two hours later you caught up with team friendship and the others on the wishing star. There you saw puss and your husband fighting. âI know I can never defeat you Lobo but I will never stop fighting for this lifeâ. Puss said aiming at death. Death growled as he picked up his sickles and slowly walked closer towards puss. You ran to the fire wall and stood beside kitty and perrito. Puss still holding his sword up as the giant wolf lowered his face to pussâs he growled for then turned away angrily. Slashing his sickles against the star, âpor quĂ© diablos fui a jugar con comidaâ?! âYour ruining this for meâ. Turning back to puss he put a sickle under puss, âI came here for an arrogant little legend who thought he was immortalâ. Death then sighed, âbut I donât see him anymoreâ.
Spinning the sickles he put them back in his belt,âlive your life puss in boots live it wellâ. He said walking to the barrier. He turned his head back one last time and simply asked âyou know we will meet again rightâ? âSi hasta la muerteâ. Puss responded back, turning back to the barrier a whistle came from death before he entered it.
The fire wall ceased, perrito ran over to puss. Puss have him a hug with a small chuckle, kitty and you started to walk closer. âYou know when you said death was after you I thought you were just being melodramaticâ. You laughed at that, âno my husband is straight death, just like Iâm lifeâ. You told them to which the three looked at you. âYour married to deathâ?! Puss exclaimed, âyes and Iâm sorry for all the trouble he caused you my childâ. You apologized to him and now he was even more confused, âwhy did you call me your childâ? Puss asked with an eyebrow raised.
âJust like how my husband is the embodiment of death, Iâm the opposite Iâm the embodiment of life, and I think of all living beings as my childrenâ. You stated while you petted parritoâs head. âIâm the lady that saved parrito that day in the riverâ. And perritoâs eyes widened. âPlease take care of him, and donât throw him into a river or elseâ. You said narrowing your eyes at both puss and kitty. They both nodded and smiled nervously. âThough I wish you appreciated all of your lives puss, please make sure you appreciate this one for as long until you have to meet my husband againâ. You said while standing up and turning to the barrier.
âSi señorita vidaâ. Puss responded ïżŒhugging perrito again. âBye miss life thank you for getting me out of the riverâ! Perrito yelled as you walked closer to the barrier. âNo problem my childâ! You yelled back as you entered the colorful wall.
Sorry This took longer then I wanted and if there is any bad Spanish translation please tell me. I actually liked writing this one. Itâs actually my longest fic yet. ïżŒ
Daniel's baby face and puppy like charm is simply off the rockers. Must be protected at all costs.
The way their murderous aura just disappears after being subjected to those puppy eyes once. They legit do a 180° and go like- this precious baby must be petted.
This post is inspired by two things, the first being the announcement by Google that the long delayed Manifest V3 which will kill robust adblocking will finally roll out in June 2024, and the second, a post written by @sexhaver in response to a question as to what adblockers and extensions they use. It's a very good post with some A+ information, worth checking out.
I love Firefox, I love the degree of customization it offers me as a user. I love how it just works. I love the built in security features like DNS over HTTPS, and I love just how many excellent add-ons are available. It is a better browser than Chrome in every respect, and of the many Chromium based browsers out there, only Vivaldi comes close.
There are probably many people out there who are considering switching over to Firefox but are maybe putting it off because they've got Chrome set up the way they like it with the extensions they want, and doing all that again for Firefox seems like a chore. The Firefox Add-on directory is less expansive than the Chrome Web Store (which in recent years has become overrun with garbage extensions that range from useless to active malware), but there is still a lot of stuff to sift through. That's where this short guide comes in.
I'm presently running 33 add-ons for Firefox and have a number of others installed but disabled. I've used many others. These are my picks, the ones that I consider essential, useful, or in some cases just fun.
uBlock Origin: The single best adblocker available. If you're a power user there are custom lists and scripts you can find to augment it.
Privacy Badger: Not strictly necessary if you're also running uBlock, but it does catch a few trackers uBlock doesn't and replaces potentially useful trackers like comment boxes with click-to-activate placeholders.
Decentraleyes: A supplementary tool meant to run alongside uBlock, prevents certain sites from breaking when tracker requests are denied by serving local bundled files as replacement.
NoScript: The nuclear option for blocking trackers, ads, and even individual elements. Operates from a "trust no one" standpoint, you will need to manually enable elements yourself. Not recommended for casual users, but a fantastic tool for the power user.
Webmail Ad Blocker: The first of many webmail related add-ons from Jason Saward I will be recommending. Removes all advertising from webmail services like Gmail or Yahoo Mail.
Popup Blocker (Strict): Strictly blocks ALL pop up/new tab/new window requests from all website by default unless you manually allow it.
SponsorBlock: Not a fan of listening to your favourite YouTuber read advertisements for shitty products like Raycons or BetterHelp? This skips them automatically.
AdNauseam: I don't use this one but some people prefer it. Rather than straight up blocking ads and trackers, it obfuscates data by injecting noise into the tracker surveillance infrastructure. It clicks EVERY ad, making your data profile incomprehensible.
User-Agent Switcher: Allows you to spoof websites attempting to gather information by altering your browser profile. Want to browse mobile sites on desktop? This allows you to do it.
Bitwarden: Bitwarden has been my choice of password manager since LastPass sold out and made their free tier useless. If you're not using a password manager, why not? All of my passwords look like this: $NHhaduC*q3VhuhD&scICLKjvM4rZK5^c7ID%q5HVJ3@gny I don't know a single one of them and I use a passphrase as a master password supplemented by two-factor-authentication. Everything is filled in automatically. It is the only way to live.
Proton Pass: An open source free password manager from the creators of Proton Mail. I've been considering moving over to it from Bitwarden myself.
Checker Plus for Gmail: Provides desktop notifications for Gmail accounts, supports managing multiple accounts, allows you to check your mail, read, mark as read or delete e-mails at a glance in a pop-up window. An absolutely fabulous add-on from Jason Saward.
Checker Plus for Google Drive: Does for your Google Drive what Checker Plus for Gmail does for your Gmail.
Checker Plus for Google Calendar: The same as the above two only this time for your Google Calendar.
Firefox Relay: An add-on that allows you to generate aliases that forward to your real e-mail address.
Dark Reader: Gives every page on the internet a customizable Dark Mode for easier reading and eye protection.
Read Aloud: A text to speech add-on that reads pages with the press of a button.
Zoom Page WE: Provides the ability to zoom in on pages in multiple ways: text zoom, full page zoom, auto-fit etc.
Mobile Dyslexic: Not one I use, but I know people who swear by it. Replaces all fonts with a dyslexia friendly type face.
ClearURLs: Automatically removes tracking data from URLs.
History Cleaner: Automatically deletes browser history older than a set number of days.
Feedbro RSS Feed Reader: A full standalone reader in your browser, take control of your feed and start using RSS feeds again.
Video Download Helper: A great tool for downloading video files from websites.
Snap Link Plus: Fan of Wikipedia binge holes? Snap Link allows to drag select multiple hyperlink and automatically open all of them in new tabs.
Copy PlainText: Copy any text without formatting.
EPUBReader: Read .epub files from within a browser window.
Tab Stash: A no mess, no fuss way to organize groups of tabs as bookmarks. I use it as a temporary bookmark tool, saving sessions or groups of tabs into "to read" folders.
Tampermonkey/Violentmonkey: Managers for installing and running custom user scripts. Find user scripts on OpenUserJS or Greasy Fork, there's an entire galaxy out there of ingenious and weird custom user scripts out there, go discover it.
Speed Dial 2: A new tab add-on that gives you easy access to your favourite sites.
Unpaywall: Whenever you come across a scholarly article behind a paywall, this add-on will search through all the free databases for an accessible and non-paywalled version of the text.
Web Archives: Come across a dead page? This add-on gives you a quick way to search for cached versions of the page on the Wayback Machine, Google Cache, Archive.is and others.
Bypass Paywalls: Automatically bypasses the paywalls of major websites like those for the New York Times, New Yorker, the Financial Times, Wired, etc.
Simple Translate: Simple one-click translation of web pages powered by Google Translate.
Search by Image: Reverse search any image via several different search engines: Google Image, TinEye, Yandex, Bing, etc.
PocketTube: Do you subscribe to too many YouTube channels? Would you like a way to organize them? This is your answer.
Enhancer for Youtube: Provides a suite of options that make using YouTube more pleasant: volume boost, theatre mode, forced quality settings, playback speed and mouse wheel volume control.
Augmented Steam: Improves the experience of using Steam in a browser, see price histories of games, take notes on your wishlist, make wish listed games and new DLC for games you own appear more visible, etc.
Return YouTube Dislikes: Does exactly what it says on the package.
BlueBlocker: Hate seeing the absolute dimmest individuals on the planet have their replies catapulted to the top of the feed because they're desperate to suck off daddy Elon sloppy style? This is for you, it automatically blocks all Blue Checks on Twitter. I've used it to block a cumulative 34,000 Blue Checks.
Batchcamp: Allows for batch downloading on Bandcamp.
XKit Rewritten: If you're on Tumblr and you're not using whichever version of XKit is currently available, I honestly don't know what to say to you. This newest version isn't as fully featured as the old XKit of the golden age, but it's been rewritten from the ground up for speed and utility.
Social Fixer for Facebook: I once accidentally visited Facebook without this add-on enabled and was immediately greeted by the worst, mind annihilating content slop I had ever had the misfortune to come across. Videos titled "he wanted her to get lip fillers and she said no so he had bees sting her lips", and AI photos of broccoli Jesus with 6000 comments all saying "wow". Once I turned it on it was just stuff my dad had posted and updates from the Radio War Nerd group.
BetterTTV: Makes Twitch slightly more bearable.
Well I think that's everything. You don't have to install everything here, or even half of it, but there you go, it's a start.
Oooo I love your writing and I wanted to put in an ask, what about modern day reader and death watching clean TikTokâs? Iâve been obsessed with them and i just imagine both of them dead ass sitting on her bed watching some lady put way to many chemicals in her toilet, while reader says something along the lines of, âin my entire immortal life I have never seen someone use that many cleaning productsâ.

Distractions
[Modern Days! Honestly a bit excited for this but also: MC has probably seen Team Friendship die and probably requested to be with them right before Muerte takes their souls (despite not liking seeing the people sheâs close to die. It would be a development for her and Muerte definitely asked her more than once if she was sure). Plus, I don't know how many lives Kitty has left, but she probably has to watch Puss and Perrito pass away too if she still has, like, 4 or 5 lives left. Kitty is the last friend MC has to bury.]
They were supposed to be cleaning. Just like they do every weekend.
Instead, the both of them were now laying on their shared bed, (Y/n) with her phone in hand and scrolling through videos of people cleaning their houses instead. It was supposed to be a one minute break. But the next thing she knew, she was trapped scrolling through the videos. Muerte even tried dragging her out of it before eventually giving in.
âFine, one more minute,â he had said, putting away the vacuum cleaner and settling down beside (Y/n) on the bed so he could watch her for one minute and then theyâll go right back to work.
Stupid new devices and their ability to take their attention so easily away from anything.
Even Muerte didnât know what time or how long theyâd been laying down on the bed, the vacuum cleaner and the rest of their chores forgotten as (Y/n) holds up her phone, watching some lady in a video dumping way too much chemicals in her toilet.
âI have never seen someone use so many cleaning products on one toilet,â she grumbled. âAnd Iâve lived a long time. Isnât that toxic? Wonât she die from using that many products?â
Muerte shrugged, mildly amused. âI guess weâll see.â He turns to the clock on the wall, letting out a sigh and patting (Y/n)âs side to catch her attention. âNow come on, we need to finish before the sun sets.â
âYeah, yeah, just one more video, please?â
Muerte sighs. âFine.â
---
It wasnât just one more video.
âI bet I could chug that.â
â(Y/n),â Muerte warns, his eyes squinting at her at the joke as she laughs.
âIt was a joke, querido,â She feels Muerteâs tight grip on her waist loosen a bit, shaking his head as he leans his head against her own, watching her continue to scroll through the cleaning videos.
Eventually it turned into those fridge restocking videos.
âWe need to get one of those,â She hummed, watching the lady put dividers into her fridge.
âNo we donât.â
âYes we do. Iâm going to order it online.â
âEstrella.â
âMuerteee,â
---
Eventually, Muerte had decided to just snatch the phone away from her, tucking it in the back of his pockets.
âThere, now can we please, get started?â He had his hands on his hips, eyes glaring at (Y/n) who had her bottom lip jutted out in that cute pout of hers, her hair already a mess from laying down in bed far too long.
âFine,â she huffed, rolling onto her back and lifting her arms up at him. âPull me up?â
Muerte rolls his eyes, grabbing onto both of her hands, about to pull her up when he was tugged into bed instead. (Y/n) falling into fits of giggles as he grabs onto her waist and pulls her out of the bed when she tries to escape, throwing her over his shoulder and walking out the room with a victorious huff.
âWeâre finishing this!â

In this heartbreaking image, young Osama stands patiently in line, holding on to hope as he waits for something as basic as clean water. Surrounded by empty containers and a crowd of people, this moment captures a reality no child should face.
Osama is just one of many children in Gaza enduring unimaginable hardship. With no access to safe shelter, clean water, or enough food, survival has become a daily struggle. What should be a carefree childhood is instead filled with long waits, cold nights, and uncertainty.
This photo was taken during a water distribution in a displacement camp. Families, like Osamaâs, have been forced from their homes due to war, living now in tents with extremely limited resources.
Your support can bring life-saving relief to Osama and countless others. Every donation helps provide clean water, food, medical care, and shelter to families who have lost everything.
